TURNS OUT, ADONIS HAD A LOT TO LOSE. He settled into his bed as he looked around the room. It was mostly empty except for a couple of pictures of Thalia and Annabeth. One was a photo of them laughing in Central Park. They looked considerably younger and a lot less battle-worn. The other depicted Thalia facing off against a blonde haired kid in the arena. Adonis guessed the kid was Luke Castellan, the one who had run away and joined Kronos.
Adonis would've inspected the room more if his head hadn't hit the cool, fluffy, white pillow on the bed.

ADONIS FOUND HIMSELF STANDING IN A SWEET SMELLING FIELD.
He knew that every demigod dealt with dreams. They were practically impossible to avoid. Adonis had heard of kids at camp who'd gotten visited from their parents in their dreams or got a future warning.
He looked at his surroundings. As if he had never moved, he was back in the strawberry fields at camp.
