Riele's POV

*beeeeeeep*

i groaned and slapped my alarm off annoyed by the sound, what time is it?

i looked over at the clocks and gasped

8:30am

i'm late for work shit!

i jumped up, took a quick shower got dressed and made some coffee.

"good morning riele" i head a radio/human voice say behind me i turned around and saw a pink eye jace eating my bag of skittles that i left on the counter the other day, i laughed and took a red one "good morning jace! hey wait where did you sleep? i didn't see you in the guest room i provided for you" i asked confused

he look at me and softly chuckled "oh uh i slept on the couch by accident....i was watch this weird show with a talking sponge and a talking starfish and i couldn't stop watching..i passed out later on tho" he said clearly not familiar with spongebob and patrick i scoffed in disbelief "oh yeah, your an alien alright.."

i grabbed my purse, coffee and a muffin and started heading out the door "OH uh i'm late for work but there's food and whatnot here so you should be fine till i get back, see ya jace!" i yelled out and closed the door.

i couldn't hear him speak back i was to being worried about how late i was..ugh how did i over sleep like this?

Jace's POV

i sighed and sat on the couch suddenly bored that riele has to work..but it's what humans do i guess.

i turned on the tv and started watching more spongebob.

*knock!* *knock!*

i groaned and woke up from the sound of a banging sound.

i jumped up and looked around until i heard it again

oh it's the door..

i looked through the see through hole and saw a man with curly hair and a blue and shirt with a white flannel.

i'm guessing he's Sean, Riele's closest guy friend.

the suddenly i heard someone else coming

"Sean seriously?! ugh! you park like an old ass grandma!" Ella said rolling her eyes as she walks to the door

sean sucked his teeth and glared "what? how you gon put old and grandma in the same sentence like it's not the same thing?!" he said making her roll her eyes once again, ouuu she's definitely the diva.
