Chapter 9
“So Gaara, what do you think the chances of us banging into another ninja squad, like right now” ask Saruki
“Not that good of a chance, but then again luck could be on our side” replies Gaara
Saruki sighs “I guess you're right”, but what they were unaware of was that three ninja from the Earth Village were lurking in the shadows up a nearby tree.
“Heh, look like they haven't noticed us” says a boy voice
“Yeah, they must be pretty stupid, I mean we are practically in blind site” replies the girl
“Huh, why don't we just attack now” says the boy again
“We will, but wait we can't seem to obvious and we need to know are foe's strength and what they are capable of first” says another boy voice
“Yes, I understand, should I make four clones then” says the boy
“No, only three” snaps the other boy voice quietly
“But then my clones will be out numbered” replies the boy
“I know, but they would find out that your clones are clones. Think about it, the forth clone would have to look like one of us three, they would immediately assume, that they are being attacked by clones. Just like we would” says the other boy
“How do you know, I mean maybe their stupid” says the girl
“Maybe but assuming they're not stupid. Truly we can't be sure” says the boy again
“Hm, I guess not” replies the girl
“Gaara, I think we are being watched” says Saruki
“I know, let’s pretend we don't notice them, and let them attack first”
Temari, Kankuro a Saruki nod at Gaara, they continue to walk on as normal.
