A lot of us have an attraction to magic and all that is witchcraft. It's fascinating to know more about the craft and how it came to be. I am not much of a wise witch but I do have enough knowledge that I read through many books and discover what "path" I belong to. I consider myself as an atheist gray witch lol! And you are totally free to call whatever witch type you want to be as well!

I guess we'll start off with the origin of witchcraft. Long story short. We all know about the witch trails and how many people were falsely accused of being a witch. It all started with three girls spreading rumors (smh). Although witchcraft has existed supposedly around 700 BC and 100 AD; way before the Salem WItch Trails which began in the 1690s.

Just know that witchcraft isn't about worshipping the devil (which is a lie), hexing people, casting spells, and blah, blah. It is truly about loving nature, connecting with the earth and its beings, mediation, and feeling free. Most branches in witchcraft are pantheistic, meaning they worship more than one God and Goddess (we'll talk about deities later).

I hope this simple book helps you in your journey! Good luck!
