Francesca and Max were stood in his motor home as he watched the girl pick at her nails,

"Fran?" Max looked up from his phone as he let out a sigh,

"Yeah?" Francesca nodded as she stopped fiddling with her fingers,

"What's up with you?" The Dutchman asked as he cocked his head,

"What do you mean?" The Scot furrowed her eyebrows as she didn't understand what he meant,

"You've been weird ever since Brazil," the boy pointed out in a duh tone,

All of the drivers who had been in the elevator seemed to be in that same boat but he figured that it was best to talk to his girlfriend.

"I need to say something to you," the girl let out a sigh as she decided that she had done enough avoiding,

"What is it?" Max put his phone on the table in front of him as he turned to her giving her his full attention,

"I love you," Francesca blurted out as she awkwardly turned a bright shade of pink,

"Oh." The Dutchman sat there as he just processed her words,

"Oh?" The Scot furrowed her eyebrows as she grew confused,

"Is that all?" The boy asked as he cocked his head, not believing it was as important as she thought it was.

"What do you mean is that all?" The girl got up as she grabbed her jacket,

"Where are you going?" Max asked as he reached out to grab her hand,

"Forget that I said anything," Francesca shook her head as she grumbled,

"Fran," the Dutchman couldn't help but let out a laugh,

"What?" The Scot grew annoyed by his reaction,

"I love you too," the boy smiled as he pulled her back onto the couch,

"I just didn't think that was what was bugging you the whole week," he added in a duh tone,

"I was worried the boys would spill the beans," the girl explained with a shrug,

"So they all knew?" Max was taken by surprise as he didn't take his girlfriend as the kind of person who would talk about her feelings to half of the people she was against on the grid.

"Yep," Francesca nodded as she popped her lips,

"They found out in the elevator," she added causing the boy to gasp,

"You weren't even gone for that long," the Dutchman pointed out as he furrowed his eyebrows,

"Yeah but still," the Scot placed her hands on top of his,

"You called me love on the phone and that triggered the conversation from like all of the boys," she couldn't help but smile,

"I'm sorry," the boy let out a sigh as he apologised,

"Don't be," the girl shook her head,

"Made me tell you that I love you," she added as she leaned over and placed a kiss on his lips.

Ivana and Eleonora were stood in the paddock as they caught up with Francesca,

"How do you feel about your final race?" Elenora asked as she cocked her head,

"A bit shit," Francesca let out a sigh as she fiddled with her balaclava,

"What do you mean?" Ivana was in the middle of braiding the girl's hair as the driver just wasn't bothered to do it and the girl thankfully offered.

"Even if Max and I get first and second we would need a poor result from Mercedes for us to win," the Scot explained as she looked over to the other side of the paddock to see that Max was probably having a very similar conversation but with his race engineer,

"It's amazing what a few poor results can do for you," she added with a sigh,

"There is always next season," the Brit shrugged as she didn't know what she could say to help,

"And anything could happen," she added in a bit more of a hopeful tone,

"This race isn't over yet," the Russian nodded in agreement,

"It just feels like it is," Francesca was feeling a bit deflated by the thought,

"We can only hope that Mercedes fuck up," Ivana knew that it was the main idea for the race,

"We may throw a banana peel on the ground," she added in a suggestive tone,

"Let's not kill them," the driver shook her head as she knew that it could go horribly wrong.

"I used to be a part of their team," she added in a duh tone,

"So we can just slightly injure them?" Eleonora shrugged as she smiled,

"No," the driver shook her head,

"Fran!" Joshua called out to the girl,

"Yeah?" The Scot whipped around to see him,

"You gotta get going," He explained as he watched her nod,

"I'll see you two later," Francesca waved goodbye to her friends as she now only had hoped to hold onto.

The race had ended and Francesca had won but having Mercedes take up both second and forth wasn't enough for Redbull,

"How are you feeling after this win?" Max somehow found himself with the mic and decided to go around interviewing the drivers who were free,

"It is the best rookie season anyone has ever had," he added as he had learnt the fact off of an interviewer who spoke to him a few days prior,

"Wait really?" Francesca asked as she was taken by surprise,

"Yeah most don't have six wins," the Dutchman nodded,

"And three crashes," the Scot couldn't help but add the minor fact into that.

"Well that too," the boy knew that it would eventually be brought up.

"Honestly I feel happy," the girl began as she changed the subject to a light-hearted one,

"It's been a lot of fun," she never would have assumed that she would do this well as a rookie in her first season,

"With a man like this by my side, what more could I want?" In a joking tone, she hit his shoulder,

"A child?" Max proposed with a smirk,

"Not yet," Francesca had to downplay her reaction completely given that there were two cameras facing her.

"But sometime soon potentially," she added with a shrug as anything was possible.
