It was now the weekend of the race in Italy and Francesca found herself in the gym with 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎,

"So how are you settling into being a main driver?" Daniel asked as he cocked his head,

"Pretty well to be honest," Francesca nodded as she smiled,

"Christian has been making sure that I am okay," she added as almost all of the crew had been making sure that she had settled into the team.

"It's good to hear that Red Bull care about more than just Max," the Australian mumbled as he had a very different end with the club,

"Can I ask you something?" The Scot asked as she cocked her head,

"Sure," the boy nodded as he grabbed his water bottle,

"How did you survive with him as your partner?" The girl knew that he was a tough person to get along with,

"What do you mean?" The raven-haired boy asked as he furrowed his eyebrows,

"Well we already don't get along after something last season," the blonde began with a sigh,

"And you didn't get along with him really either," she added with a duh tone,

"So how did you survive being with him?" The girl really did want to know how he did it,

"Well, I left," the boy shrug as he had gone soon after Max joined,

"And Christian will tell you that I fled from a fight," he added knowing that the Brit had a different version of the story,

"But after Baku, I knew that I wasn't wanted," the boy let out a sigh as he hated the atmosphere that was in the team,

"Do you think he heard all of that?" Francesca looked at him with wide eyes as she watched Max walk into the locker room through the gym,

He had left the sauna.

"I mean who cares," Daniel shrugged as he ran his hand through his hair,

"We didn't say anything bad," he added in a duh tone.

Francesca was sat in her room on a FaceTime call with 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐙𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐒 and 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓,

"So how are you settling with Max?" Marina asked as she cocked her head,

"We barely talk," Francesca let out a sigh,

"He is just a bit of a twat you know?" She added in a grumble,

"He can't be that bad," Amina raised her eyebrow as she had met the boy once,

He seemed nice.

"Remember coffee-boy from last season?" The Scot and her friends had given him that nice,

"Yep," the older girls nodded,

"That's him," the driver explained as the girls gasped,

"Holy shit!" The Kiwi looked up with wide eyes,

"I've never seen you that angry in my whole life," she added with a giggle,

"It was kinda funny though," the Moroccan smiled as she remembered it,

"You giving me nicknames now?" Max asked as he was stood in the door frame,

"I gotta go," Francesca sent her friends a salute as she hung up from the call.

"What can I do for you?" She added as she looked at the boy,

"I came to tell you that if you have a problem with me then tell me about it," the Dutchman explained in a duh tone,

"Don't go bitch to the other drivers about it," he added as he had heard the conversation in the gym.

"Okay," the Scot nodded as she got up,

"So do you have anything to say?" The boy asked as he waited for her to say something more,

"Well I think you're a dick for starters," the girl confessed as she smirked,

"If this is all because of the coffee thing then-" Max began before he was quickly cut off.

"I could give less of a fuck about that," Francesca spat as she shook her head,

"In fact, I was willing to forget about it," she added in a mumble,

"Then what is your issue with me?" The boy asked as he cocked his head,

"You don't respect me!" The girl thought that it was obvious,

"As a driver and as a person I don't think you respect me," she added as she crossed her arms,

"And I can handle that from critics because they are always going to do it," the blonde wasn't blind to the hate that she got for being a female racer,

"But from my own partner is a bit too far," she knew that people sometimes didn't get on with their partners but there was always some ground of respect,

"You've joined the big leagues and have barely shown that you can survive," the boy pointed out,

"You do remember I won the race right?" The girl took a step towards him as she cocked her head,

"Some people aren't even able to get on the podium in their first season," she added knowing that it was the truth,

"If the crash didn't happen I would have been above you," Max shot back as he looked down at her,

"There you go again!" Francesca rolled her eyes as she grumbled,

"Quit blowing wind up your arse before your head gets too big," she added as she sent him a glare,

"What is your aim at Red Bull?" The Dutchman asked curiously,

"To bring you back down to reality," the Scot explained with a smile,

"You aren't as special as you think you are and I'm here to show you that," she added in a duh tone as her confidence was up and it was now showing.
