You're sitting in your living room, watching some TV when you hear your phone beep. You take a look, and notice it's a text from Mikey.
Mikey: Hey dudette, just wondering if you are doing anything tomorrow afternoon?
You pause for a moment. Was Mikey asking you out? There was only one way to find out.
You: I don't think so. Why? What's up?
Mikey: Oh I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out again?
Your heart beats faster. You're almost incapable of sending a reply.
You: Yeah that'd be great!
Mikey: Great! Pizza?
You: Even better. What time?
Mikey: 5:00 sound okay?
You: Perfect. See you then!
You put your phone face down on the floor and pull your knees into your chest. Was Mikey asking you out? Or was he just being friendly? Then an even bigger question crosses your mind.
