Happy Holidays

*Christmas 2006*

Christmas is when it hit me how much my life had changed. Rian still wasn’t home yet for our annual Christmas eve party. 

“Honey can you check the cookies.”

“sure.”

Allyson walked in the back door with Ian 

“that door was locked.”

“I used my key.”Ian said smiling 

“Ian the key under the rock isn’t yours.”

“Actually I used the one my mom gave me, that I then made copies off.”

“Oh.”I said with a laugh 

“Where is Ky?”Allyson asked

“Who knows.”I said with a faint smile.

an hour later a ton of people were here. 

minus Kyle and a few others

“Merry Christmas!”Alex said hugging me 

oh my did he look drop dead gorgeous. we were in the kitchen I was making cookies.there was mistletoe over the sink. we both were standing there. 

“Merry Christmas Princess.”Alex said 

“You too Alex.”I said as he leaned in and kissed me 

it was a quick little peck. 

He walked away right after. my biggest crush kissed me! Eeeppp! 

My boyfriend walked in right after. 

“Hey babe.”Kyle said

“Hi.”I said as he leaned in and kissed me. he tasted like coffee mhmm coffee 

we went into the other room 

“Cookies!”Jack yelled and like attacked me for the plate. 

“Calm down Barakitty.”I said with a smile

“Barakitty?”Rian said 

“Shut Up Dawson!”Alex yelled 

“More Like Dawesome!” 

“In your dreams.”Zack said with a laugh.

Allyson stared at me 

“Sup Barakitty.”

“Sup Dawesome.”She said back with a smile 

with that Allyson and I gave each other the best nicknames ever.

My dad wasn’t there and it was weird.. Our Christmas Eve party is always something he was home for. it was a big deal for my family. 

We handed out presents, the strange part is my mom gave my siblings and me presents normally we get something small on christmas eve and a big present on the day. I was really confused.

“What time do you want to leave for dads?”Rian asked Adam 

“Like 6.”Adam said

“Hold up whats going on?”I asked

“We are spending Christmas with Dad.”

“Oh.”

“We are going to Aunt V’s.”Tay said 

“Well Dad’s first then Aunt V’s.”

“Okay.”I said sipping my Hot Cocoa 

The rest of the party was rather dull. I went to bed early got woken up early got ready and headed to Jersey.

“This Drive sucks!‘Tay yelled when we were about halfway 

“Shut up.”Adam said 

“No.”Tay said 

we got to my dad’s at like 11. 

“Merry Christmas!”My dad said greeting us.

he gave us all big hugs. Weird. my dad for once was being Jolly. 

we exchanged presents. My mom gave me a new cell phone since my lovely friend Ian ran over mine with a skate board. My Dad gave me an Ipod. I was really excited about this one!

“Ri will you put music on it?”I asked really quietly 

“You trust my taste?”Rian asked all flabbergasted 

“yeah.”I said as he just smiled and hugged me 

For once Christmas with my family was normal even kind of fun.
