i think i have always known that i was "fit" for being an actress , as a kid i would find myself practicing fake movie lines in my mirror.
acting became my biggest dream and i didn't care if i was a fucking tree in the back of a movie i just wanted to be in one or just be in that setting , i can't believe i made it this far.
as a kid you are always told that acting or being a singer is a very low chance , that there is no possible way for you to ever become one. but my mother was never like that.
she wanted me to be the best version of myself and she saw that with acting i was that version. every weekend we would go down to the theatre and watch the new movies together and then practice our favorite scenes in the car.
my mother passed away four years ago due to breast cancer and i never fully got over her passing. i don't think i ever will be able too , but i know she would be proud of me or at least i hope she is.
"whatcha thinking about?" drew asked sitting down next to me
"just my mom" i mumbled , drew and maddie were the only people that i've opened up to about my mom so they were really understanding about how i felt about the whole situation
"i really miss her" my voice broke and i bit my bottom lip to try and stop my crying
"i know you do mads she's really proud of you and you know how much she wanted this for you" drew comforted me pulling me into a much needed hug
"she would have loved you" i laughed leaning my head against his
"well if she is anything like you she must have been the best" he beamed "i would have loved to meet her"
"thank you drew" i smiled pulling away so i could face him again
"for what?" he questioned
"for being there for me when i need you and for being the best friend that i needed" i gulped pushing my tears away again "i love you so much starkey" i laughed feeling my tears fall
"no crying i love you" he placed his thumbs under my eyes wiping my tears away before pulling me into another hug
drew ran inside after hearing rudy and chase come home with food. typical starkey.
"you okay?" i heard from next to me
"oh yeah" i smiled standing up and wrapping my arms around rudy's neck
"you sure?" rudy asked making me nod my head and push my lips onto his
"hey no more sex!" jd screamed pushing us away from each other "save room for jesus!"
