The Son of Yami

Arrival

Asta wakes up and sees darkness, he floats endlessly in a sea of red as he looks around trying to find a way out. "HELLO? ANYONE? PLEASE HELP ME!" he screams out to no avail.

"hella asta"

"asta turns around to see a giant black mass forming , taking the shape of a huge devil , with red eyes staring into what felt like was astas soul.

"are the the devil in my grimore?" asta questions

"yes, i am liebe, i am a devil that is saving you from something bad happening."

"what is it? what is going on? who are you? why are you here? asta keeps going and going with questions and questions while liebe chuckles at the kids curiosity.

"it is a long story as to who i am, and i'm sure you won't understand it now , but just know i am here to help you out asta, and when you need my power do not hesitate to use mine, as long as you help me with a mission of my own." liebe says

"you have a deal!" asta says happily , knowing that he has a power , he has hope, this devil was a glimmer in the darkness that now he can use his power to get into the magic knights and to become a wizard king!

"i'm sorry kid, you don't understand now, i'm truly here to help, but there's more to me then just this." liebe tells himself as he ends his meeting with asta.

time-skip one week

asta wakes up next to a doctor in a giant palace. His leg is being healed as the power he put into that kick earlier injured it and ever since he tapped into that unknown power he has been asleep. He woke up confused and looked around to meet the doctor in the eyes.

"Hello, i am doctor owen, don't worry i'm just patching you up there's nothing too bad here, just relax and let me work" owen says trying to comfort the kid who's obviously confused and wondering what is going on

"ASTA!" someone yells , as asta looks around and sees captain yami walking towards him and once he gets to him he pats him on his head.

"you had me worried kid, you can't be scaring me like that when you're just starting your journey!" he says as he takes a puff of his cigarette

"so so so is this the kid i've heard so much about" a blond man with a mark on his forehead walks into the room , his robe across him with numerous medals across his chest , two mages follow him in and sit at the door while the man walks towards asta.

"hello asta! my name is julius novachrona, or as people know me by, the wizard king."

"TH- THE WIZA- WIZAR- THE WIZARD KING?!!?!?" asta screams as he jumps up and he goes to fanboy over julius

"SIR CAN I HAVE YOUE PHOTOGRAPH , SIR CAN I HAVE YOUE AUTOGRAPH, SIR CAN I-"

asta is grabbed by his head by yami, "how come you don't fanboy over me like that huh brat?" he says with a dark look in his eye

"IM SORRY SIR!" asta screams bowing to yami

"now now let's get you dressed and take you around the place, i'll be glad to show you around little one" julius says patting asta on his head, making him feel loved

this for asta is a dream come true, not only did he get to leave his poor village and everyone who bullied him, he got to be next to the wizard king and actually talk to him!

asta had a fun time around the palace , meeting all the captains and meeting new friends like mimosa and his brother , some of sliva family and a particular girl he found attractive but turned him away because she is "royalty"

after his fun and exhausting day, yami leads him to the black bulls hideout

"as of today, you'll be staying here with me and my squad , we will feed you and let you stay here , not only that but i will oversee your training and i'll offer you to other squads to train under them too later years." yami says

"and one more thing, we will make you be able to control your power and get to the top" he says while asta is fanboying over being able to be trained by a magic captain himself and other captains.

"where is asta?!" sister lily says crying and confused , "my dear asta where could you have gone." sister lily says yelling and being sad about the leave of asta.

Father goes outside to see yuno sitting there. Yuno says father and starts to talk to him " can't believe he turned into a chicken and left , what a wimp" he says flatly to a stunned father

father gets up with rage, " HOW DARE YOU, EVEN AFTER THIS YOU DONT SEE WHAT YOU DID, ITS WHAT YOU SAID TO HIM THAT HIM, THE ONE I SAW AS MY SON LEFT!" father yells getting up and leaving and slamming the door on the way in.

"asta you basted, i'll show them who's truly superior and i'll show them that you're nothing but trash." yuno says with rage in his eyes.

the next day.

asta wakes up in his new room in his strange house , asta met the members of the black bulls last night and they all welcomed him. magna tried to get him into a initiation but yami knocked him into a wall for theating asta. Asta wakes up and gets ready , he showers and he brushes his teeth and he goes to look for yami

"morning kid!" the members of the black bulls tell asta as he walks into the main lobby

"good morning!" asta yells happily back , he walks around some more until he finds yami outside

"yami!" asta says as he runs to him and hugs him

"hey kid, you ready?" yami says

"yes sir!" asta yells back happily

little time skip to the capital

asta is in a training yard with yami and julius

"okay asta, can you try to bring out that power you did against me? yami asks him

"i'll try!" asta takes a stance and he try's to draw out his energy , surprisingly he's able to draw some magic out as the dark mana starts releasing from him and it's pouring out , julius is in amazement of what he's seeing right now , like the magic nerd he is

"AMAZING POWER ASTA, WHAT IS THIS, HOW DID YOU GET THIS!!!!" he yells with stars in his eyes

although this seems to be the same from last time, something is a little off , all the mana is pouring into one spot in front of him and eventually his grimore has returned.

"a 5 leaf? amazing!" julius continues

asta opens it to find it filled with ancient texts in another language. "strange" he says but as he's checking it out a giant sword appears from one of the pages and rises out.

asta reaches for the sword with one hand , surprisingly heavy he thinks , it must be about 50 to 100 pounds he tells himself as he picks it up with two hands and brings it out.

"WHATTTTTT" julius is about to go into shock with the tricks asta is pulling out in front of him

asta gets a grip on the sword and starts swinging it, it is old and rusty but he's fine with it as long as it's powerful

"yo yami!" asta yells as he charges at yami testing out his sword

"HEY KID WATCH OUT!" he says as he fills his fist with magic "DARK MAGIC, FIST OF DARKNESS" as he swings to hit the sword head on, but the when it connects , yami feels the mana from his arm being sucked out

"what?!?" he thinks as asta jumps back with the sword , confused on what happened

"did that sword just , take his mana...." asta tells himself

"Anti magic" Julius says to himself, "This kid will do wonders for the clover kingdom"
