Once upon a time my life was boring and sad. I spent most of my life living in England. One day my parents announced that we were moving to Australia. I was both excited and sad. Excited for all the surfing and good weather but sad to say goodbye to my friends and family. We left and I now have a happy life living in Australia with new friends and new lifestyle. Or that's what I thought until that dreadful day. That dreadful day was the day I lost my best and only true friend. Amy. Amy was a pretty girl that had the ultimate combination of honour and courage. She was the only reason I woke up in the morning. Until the day. We were surfing down at Phillip island with Amy as we always did and then an ultimate 9ft wave came charging towards us. We both exchanged looks. We were going to ride a awesome wave. We hopped on our boards and started paddling. The wave took our bodies and boards down the wave like we were sticks. We dropped in and hopped up. We both had the biggest smile on our faces. Then Amy suddenly nosedived and she went under. I jumped off my board and paddled towards were she went under. Her body rose to the surface, I checked her pulse. She was dead. I screamed nooooooooooo!!!!!!!! It has been 2 years since Amy died and I miss her more and more every day. Goodbye Amy, my only true friend . R.I.P
