Life's Lonely Road (A Poetry Collection)

Alone at Sea

Throw, Cast into Life's vast Ocean,

Shipwrecked and Left all alone at Sea

Nobody knows how scared I am,

How truly lonely it is to be me

My Faith's been shaken by Wind and Waves,

The Tides been rolling in heavy and rough,

The beating I take is never ending,

\ wonder When will enough, be enough?

I'm able to stay afloat for now,

But my troubles keep on compounding,

I feel like there's no end insight,

Why must I always feel as if I'm drowning?

The current situation grabs hold and carries me away,

Out and off and to another day

I try to bottled up my emotions,

To put them away, to do what I can to keep them at bay

Into the storm the thunder rolls,

With each flash of lightening my fears then rose,

Then tears laced my eyes I did nothing just froze,

I closed my eyes and prayed, As they dripped from my nose

Storm clouds fading from black to white,

As I open my eyes to dawns early light,

There's an island in the distance just off to my right,

I have never seen a more warm and precious sight

Out of the Waters, Fresh Sand beneath my toes

All by the mercy of god and the promise his love shows

For god is the beacon of light that guides me back to land,

And dispelled all my problems and sins with the single stroke of his hand!

Was I Alone? I Think Not!, It was not then nor I ever could be,

My lord was with me in the Deep Blue Sea, I'm never alone it's always God and Me!

AMEN!
