"They showed you her bucket list?" Jisoo asked, and I could only nod in response.

"So, what are you aiming to achieve?" Seulgi also inquired.

"I will help her in accomplishing those goals," I replied simply.

"Even if marrying the man of her dreams is on her bucket list?" Jisoo questioned.

" Nope, because that will be me. She will marry me, a MANoban". I smirked at them.

"But you're not the man of her dreams," Seulgi pointed out.

" Then I will change it to the MANoban of her dreams". I smiled at them.

"Are you genuinely in love with her, or is it just infatuation?" Seulgi raised an eyebrow.

"Of course, I'm sure I love her. Ever since I laid eyes on her, I knew she was the one, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make her fall in love with me," I insisted.

"Well, whatever decision you make, we'll be there for you," Jisoo reassured, patting my shoulder.

"Thank you, Chu. And what about you two? Are you flirting with Jennie's best friends?" I asked.

"What do you mean flirting? Our attention is solely focused on them," Seulgi clarified.

"I'm not convinced," I shook my head.

"Hey! We're serious about them, just like you. When we first saw them, our hearts started racing," Jisoo explained.

"Why is it so hard for me to believe you?" I retorted, earning a playful smack from her.

"Ouch!" I exclaimed.

"That's what happens when you doubt your buddies," Seulgi teased.

"You can't blame me. You two have a reputation for playing with girls' hearts. And are you sure you're still healthy? Have you gone for a checkup? What if you both were HIV positive," I warned them, and they hit me again.

"What the heck?!" I groaned.

"Just so you know, we regularly go for checkups, and we are both negative," Seulgi clarified.

"Yeah, whatever. But I'm warning you both: don't play with their feelings, or else Jennie might get mad with me," I warned.

"Don't worry, we won't hurt them. Just focus on how you're going to make Jennie fall for you," Jisoo advised me.

"Are you sure you don't find Lisa attractive?" Irene asked.

"How many times do I have to say that I don't, okay?" I responded.

"But Lisa is incredibly attractive," Chaeng commented while munching on her food.

"No, not for me," I simply replied.

"Are you kidding me, Jen? That's Lalisa Manoban, LALISA MANOBAN! She's the richest woman in the country, her family is one of the wealthiest in Asia, and here you are saying you don't find her attractive?" Irene retorted, emphasizing Lisa's name.

"I'm not like those girls, Irene. If they find Lisa so damn attractive, well then I'm not." I fired back.

"What kind of eyes do you have?!" Chaeyoung butted in.

"Can you stop pushing me towards her? Lisa and I have an agreement, okay?"

"Besides, don't believe everything you see. She was just sweet, kind, and caring because she needed me to pretend to be her soon-to-be wife." They both groaned as I said this.

"I'm not sure why I have a friend like you." I just rolled my eyes at Irene's comment.

"Jennie?" Suddenly, we heard someone calling my name, and as I looked up, I saw the man of my dreams.

Kim Taehyung.

"Yikes," I heard Irene mumble, but I heard her.

"H-hey Tae, h-how can I help you?" I stammered. Who wouldn't when their crush was standing in front of them?

"Hey Jen, hello girls," he smiled at my best friend, but these two idiots didn't.

"I'm glad you're back; the last time I saw you was about two weeks ago. I hope you're okay." I couldn't help but blush to hear his concerned voice.

"Y-yeah, just something came up, that's why I wasn't able to attend school." I gave him a shy smile.

"That's unfortunate, but don't worry, I made sure to take notes of our lessons so I can hand them to you." He smiled at me and gave me his notes. He's so caring and attractive at the same time.

"T-thank you, Tae. You're really a great help." I smiled at him.

" Anything for you Jen". My breath hitch when he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, and I bit my bottom lip.

"Jennie." I was taken aback when I heard my name being called. Looking around, I was surprised to see Lisa standing there.

"What is she doing here?" I asked myself.

The girls squealed with excitement upon seeing Lisa, but she paid them no attention as her gaze fixed solely on me.

"Wait, is that Lalisa Manoban?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes, the one and only," Irene replied.

My heart raced as Lisa approached me, never breaking eye contact.

"Why are you here, Lisa?" I asked, trying to hide my surprise.

"I came to fetch you," she said, her gaze briefly shifting to the man beside me.

"And who might you be?" she asked Taehyung in a deep, husky voice that sent shivers down my spine.

Wait, did I just find that attractive?

"Hi, I'm Kim Taehyung. It's a pleasure to meet the one and only Lalisa Manoban," he smiled and extended his hand, but Lisa didn't bother to accept it.

"What do you need from her?" she asked again.

"Lisa," I called out to her, but she ignored me.

"Oh, I'm Jennie's classmate, and I just wanted to help her since she was absent for two weeks," he replied.

Lisa looked at Taehyung from head to toe before speaking once more.

"You may leave now," she said sternly, causing my eyes to widen.

"Lisa," I raised my voice slightly, and when she looked into my eyes, my heart raced even faster as her gaze burned with intensity.

"Uhm, alright then, bye Jen, bye girls," Taehyung waved goodbye, and as he disappeared, I glared at Lisa.

"You shouldn't have done that."

"I can do whatever I want," she retorted.

"And does that include being rude to him? What the heck was that?" I said.

"Jennie!" Irene and Chaeyoung exclaimed simultaneously.

"It seems you've forgotten about our agreement, Jennie Kim," Lisa smirked, causing my heart to pound in my chest.

"What are you saying?" I asked, my breath hitching as Lisa leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"I saw the way you were looking at that guy, Kim, and I wasn't please with what I saw," she said, causing my knees to go weak.

"Jennie Kim, you are not allowed to date anyone as long as we have an agreement, understood?" she continued.

"We didn't do anything," I stuttered.

"Do you understand, Jennie Kim?" Lisa dismissed my words.

"Yes," I managed to say, and a smirk spread across her face as she seemed satisfied with my response.

"Excellent, honey," she said, gently pinching my cheek, making my heart skip a beat.

"Hello, ladies," Lisa then turned her attention to my best friends.

" That was hot Lisa". Irene smirked.

" Oh thank you Bae, just like you". She said and my brow automatically rose.

I cleared my throat.

"So, why are you here?" I asked her.

"I told you, I came to pick you up and ask you out on a date," she added, making my heart pound loudly once again.

What is happening to me?

"Aww, you're so sweet, Lisayah," Chaeyoung exclaimed.

"Thank you, Chaeng-ah. By the way, Seulgi and Jisoo are also on their way to pick you both up," Lisa informed them, causing my foolish best friends to blush.

"So, can I have a date with you?" Lisa turned her gaze back at me.

"Do I have a choice?"

"Well, that's up to you, Kim," she smirked at me, and let me tell you, her grin weakened my knees.

"S-sure... but I just want to make it clear that I agreed only because of the agreement," I informed her.

"Of course, honey," Lisa winked. This woman will be the death of me.
