Chapter V : Attachment

As I saw the doors of the elevator closing I rushed and catched one door.

The doors opened and I saw her, standing on the corner looking at me surprised.
I went in without saying a word as I pressed the button for the doors to close.
"She's probably happy, Oliver is waiting for her downstairs...." I thought to myself.
I got a little hot inside as I started breathing heavy.

*crashing sound*

"What happened.." Kate said outloud as she was grabing the handels on the elvator.
"The elevator must be stuck." I said after pushing the alarm button.
"Don't worry in any minute a technician will come." I added to calm her down.
I turned my head to look at her but she looked calm.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
Why do I care though?
"Oh yeah I'm fine, guess we must wait. There also is no connection in here I could've called somebedy..." She replied as calm as she could be.
"There is a button on the sealing of the elevator it will give a signal to the other office of technician." I said.
"Well help me get up there to push it.." She replied.

I put my hands together to she could put her feet while I could push her up.
She placed her feet and I pushed her up.
As she pressed the button, she leaned backwards close to fall.
I removed my hand and placed it around her.
As I lost a little of my balance she fell on me.
I blinked twice as I had fallen down.
My chest started hurting like crazy...
She was on my lap, her hands around my neck holding tight.
She lifted her face and at that moment she was 2 centimetres close to my face.
My heart started beating so fast as in a split second it felt like it was blasting.
I put my hand on my heart and pushed hardly as it was too painful.

"Are you okay?? OSER!!! What's wrong?? Talk to me!!" Kate was saying lodly as she was holding me tight.

In that moment I heard the doors open and my eyes closed itself.
"Hurry upp help me-e.." where the last words I could hear....

I opened my eyes slowly, everything looked blurry and dark shaded.
I tried to calm my eyes for some minutes.
As I opened them again I saw my room.
"Why em I here? How...?" I started saying while trying to get up.

"Ayy calm down Champ, try to relax at first." Oliver said while standing beside me sitting on a chair.
"Where is Kate? She was with me, is she okay?" I asked as I immediately layed again because of my chest pain.

"Don't worry She's fine, I walked her home, she told me to stand by you. And you're welcome for carrying your heavy ass till here." He said as he started to giggle.
"Do you want to eat or drink anything precious?" He asked.

"Some Orange Soda would be good." I replied as I closed my eyes to relax.
"Oh the usual favourite." He added as he made his way to the kitchen.

Ughh my fucking head...
Why is my heart hurting so much damn it... I'm a god I shouldn't  have this kind of feelings, I can't get sick...
Maybe staying in the human world for all this years has made my body change..

"Here you go hun." Oliver said as he handed me my drink.

"What happened in there?" He asked as his face went serious.
"The elevator got stuck we were trying to push all alarm buttons..." I replied.

"Well I didn't know we had buttons that needed those kind of positions.." He added while cracking his knuckles.
"Shut up, it was a dumb accident, I don't fucking know what happened.
"Look bud, I have to make some things clear. I've known Kate for a long long time and she's mine! She is my unfinished buissness and I will propose to her, so keep your distance." He sais while looking at me with a face I had never seen.
Propose to her? Who does he thing he is? And why the fuck tell me about it, I don't care about her..
"Hey fucker, you can do whatever you want. You know the purpose of me coming to the human world, so don't bullshit me with this chitty-chat." I said as his words pissed me off.
"Yeah yeah I know bud, I'm sorry I sounded that bad, it's just that she's precious to me and I get it. I'm sorry." He said as he felt bad about his attitude.

"No worries, would you mind leaving me alone now, I need some rest." I told him as I streched my feet down.
"For sure hun, call me if you need anything!" He said as he left my room making his way out.

I moved a little to the side and my chest hurt again.
Damn it, what is this nonsense. As much as It hurt I needed a real drink and I made my way to the kitchen.
I opened the fridge and got my good old Jack.
I looked down and I saw blood on my shirt.
"What the hell happen back there?" I asked myself.
Left the Jack on the table and wnt slowly to the bathroom.
Undressing myself and undoing my shirts buttons.
I took it off and there I stood.. silence hit the room.
I got closer to the mirror as my chest was black and blue.
It can't be....there is no way in hell...

I concentrated and put my hand on my chest.
*heart beating*
I repeated my promise three times..

"tha értheis se ména"

As I pushed my hand on it, there I felt it...
The string.. the string had vanished...
Tears dropped from my eyes, they flowed down like a watterfall as I couldn't belive it.

Am I dreaming ?
Is this even real?

I dropped down to the floor, the pain was hurting me so much, but I was crying happy tears.

It's you isn't it...
I finally found you my dear...
