Hermione

Hermione woke up the next day entangled with Draco, she rolled onto him and began kissing him slowly, he stirred and gripped her hips, kissing her back, Hermione pulled back and saw him open his eyes

"Morning" he smirked

"Ready to talk about what happened last night?" She asked

He groaned and tried to kiss her again, she covered his lips and pushed him back slightly

"You don't get another kiss until you tell me what happened" she stated

Draco kissed her fingers before turning her to the side, he began rubbing her sides as he gathered his thoughts

"My mother sent me a letter and it is official...she will disown me if I don't break up with you" he whispered, Hermione froze and tried to pull away, Draco gripped her tighter and connected their lips

"Draco..." Hermione whispered, pulled away and looked away

"Hermione...Look at me"

She reluctantly listened and looked up at him, Draco kissed her again, and pulled her in

"Draco...your mother—"

"Has no power over me anymore"

Hermione smiled softly, she hugged him close and put her head on his chest, she heard his heart beating

"Your mother will try everything to split us up" she whispered

"She won't succeed, I lo—" he froze for a second before taking a deep breath "I love you Hermione...I've loved you for years and I almost lost you once and I am never going to lose you again, so she can try anything but the only way I would lose you would be if I die" he promised her

"But..."

"Marry me" Draco blurted out, Hermione sat up and stared at him

"Um...what?"

Draco sat up and pulled her onto his lap, Hermione felt his heart beating frantically against her back, he kept squirming, Hermione couldn't believe what Draco had asked her, she always imagined what it would have been like to marry Draco Malfoy but truth be told, she never actually expected the words to come out of his mouth

She smiled and turned around, she kissed him softly and nodded

"Yes"

Draco laughed and deepened the kiss, Hermione felt her soul explode, colour danced behind her eyelids, she felt completed, everything ignited around her, she felt Draco pulled away and couldn't bring herself to open her eyes

"I'm going to buy you a ring" Draco whispered, Hermione opened her eyes and looked at him "I'm going to buy you a ring, not too flashy and not too simple, meet me at The Enigma Flower tonight at eight" Draco said

He got out of the bed and began dressing, Hermione watched him with a smile that was starting to hurt her cheeks, he quickly pecked her lips before running out of her apartment

Hermione laughed and blushed even more, she got up and changed, there were two people who would kill her if she didn't tell them first, walking to the floo, she called out Ginny and Pansy's office, she walked in and saw her two friends gossiping, they stopped when they saw Hermione bouncing on her feet

"He proposed!" She announced

The three women squealed and hugged one another, they laughed and pulled back

"How!? When!? How did he do it!? Tell us everything!" Pansy exclaimed

They forced her to sit and they sat across from her, Hermione began telling them everything, they gossiped the whole day, getting scolded by their boss but not changing anything
