Draco lightly sighs as he watches you laughing and chatting with your group of friends which consisted on one girl and three boys. which usually isn't a problem but Draco knew that you deserved better than him and was terrified that you'd eventually realise and leave him.

Blaise sat down next to Draco and followed his gaze before sighing "mate if you have an issue why don't you just speak to her?"

"because it's not worth an argument" Draco huffs turning back to his food

"well then trust her" Blaise replies piling food onto his plate "my girlfriend is over there too and you don't see me having an internal meltdown"

"i'm not having a meltdown" Draco says sending his bestfriend a glare

"okay tell your face that" he chuckles

"we're leaving for easter break tomorrow i just don't want to make things awkward especially since my mother is so excited to see her" Draco says

"it's going to bite away at you anyway just speak to her i did with Josie. i'm sure y/n will understand"

"whatever. i'll see you in the common room" Draco says making a swift exit from the great hall

later that evening you came back into the common room with Blaise and Josie and grinning when you spotted your boyfriend on the leather sofa working on homework

you went and sat next to him resting your chin on his shoulder "hey i wondered where you ran off to"

"yeah i was going to tell you but you seemed busy" he replied

"never too busy for you" you smile

when he didn't respond you knew something was up "you okay?"

"i'm fine just concentrating" he replies not taking his eyes off the paper

you sigh "what's wrong"

"i just said nothing" he says looking at you

you roll your eyes and get up to head towards the girls dorm

"you're staying in the girls dorm tonight?" he asks suddenly noticing you had left his side

"uh yeah" you reply simply

"why? we have to leave early tomorrow it'll just make things harder"

"well you're in a mood so" you reply

"i'm not in a mood you just don't understand-"

"hey guys we're sneaking off our little area outside, it's fridayyy!!! all our friends are going" Josie smiled coming into the room with Blaise following behind

"sounds good" you smile causing Draco to scoff

"of course" he mumbles inaudibly

"what was that?" you ask crossing your arms

"nothing" he replies and stands up looking at Blaise "we going then?"

you and Josie was sat by a tree enjoying the spring evening air. you had ignored Draco all evening not that he had been trying to talk to you. he was just sat with Blaise listening to whatever it is he was talking about.

"so what was that about earlier?" Josie asked

"i don't know he's been funny with me ever since dinner" you sigh
