After 7  YEARS.

Abbas open the door and he was shocked to saw me standing there covering my head with dupatta.

"Shama tu!"
(Shama you!)

He couldn't help but exclaimed

"Haan main"

(yes me)

That was a meek reply from me

"Aaj pind wich aan da irada kive kar lia?"

(How have you decided to visit village today?)

He asked bitterly, and his behaviour was expected!

"Kese ho? Andar Aane ke liye nahi kahoge?"

(How are you? Won't you allow me to come in)

I asked a question in the reply of his question, but my tone was quite different then before.

"Haan Haan aa, main ta bhul hi gaya si ki mahimana nu andar aan layi kiha jaunda hai, ghar wale ta bina ijazat ke aa jaunde Haa"

(oh yeah come, I was completely forget that we should offer guests to come in, family members does not need any permission they directly come in)

Abbas fired a satire while providing me space to enter and half shut the door after me.

I was already regretting for what, I had done with him moreover his satires were making me more guilt-rudder

"Esi baate mat karo please, main bohot sharminda rahi hu."

(Please don't talk like this, I'm already regretting)

I requested and for a few moments his facial expressions were changed, maybe he detected guilt and sorry in my tone, but soon that soft feeling was gone and hatred towards me was clearly visible in his eyes.

"Tu kiu pachata ri hai? Uha be... Beel edu.. Edu.. Men'nu taa bolna vi ni aaunda"

(Why are you regretting? Where is that well Ed... Educa... I don't even know how to pronounce these words)

He chuckled bitterly remembering the past and I cried but he again continued.

"Uh parhia-likhi'a te sabhikari aadmi kithe hai?"

( Where is that well educated and civilised man?)

He added and I was answerless, my life took many turns in these seven years.

"Chala gya wo mujhe akela chhod kar, usne dusri shadi kar li, usne kaha ki main jahil hu, do Kitabe parhne se koi badal nhi sakta. Usne apne sath ki ek wakeel se shadi kar li"

(He left me alone, He have done second marriage. He said that I'm uncivilised, no one can come civilised by studying few books. He married with his college)

I informed a small part of my life to him while crying, he was watching me without blinking. Maybe because I've changed in those seven years. I had gain few kgs which made my cheeks chubby and nose more fine. I also examined his condition, he aslo gain some weight which made his fat belly little more fatter than before and his shave was grown up as if he hadn't clean that since many days. In short there wasn't any positive change in his personality.

"Sun ke bahut dukh hoya!"

(I'm sorry to hear this!)

I looked up, he was sounding very sad.

"Lekin tu ta samajh sakdi ha na, jahil loga de naal zindagi guzarna mushkil hounda ha... Theek hi kra us bhale aadmi ne. Aakhir har ek nu usdi zindagi da feesla karne ka haq hai. Theek gal hai na?"
