Now it was finally time to meet the prince or so she thought, she entered the room and saw 40 people waiting and the two prince was examining one person at a time

"Ahhhhh more waiting" she whined

After 30 minutes of slowly dying, it was finally her turn

She sat in the chair and one of the prince was looking at her weirdly "What?" She ask, probably a bit too rudely

The both prince was a bit shocked because no one talk to them like that before

Mia notice they were a little shock and then she realizes her 'mistake' "oh I'm sorry your royal highness" she said sarcastically trying to hold in her laughter "can I ask why are u looking at me like that, your highness" she said smiling and laughing

Words wouldn't come out Xiaojun's mouth, this girl made the prince speechless. Hendery was in shock too, they both see that she's sassy and not just sassy she's a feisty one too but like she's definitely brave

She not accustomed being around people like them so maybe her manners aren't the best but she knows what she's doing "are u guys going to ask me questions?" with that it finally snap Xiaojun and Hendery back to reality and there faces started to get red "Am.... right, what work u want to do?" Xiaojun asked

"What job will give me the highest paid?" She boldly asked

"My personal servant" Hendery said as she said that question

"Good, I want that job" Hendery and Xiaojun couldn't hold themself back from grinning "What?"

"You're bold aren't you" Xiaojun said

"Pff~" she rolled her eyes

They asked a few more questions about her family and where she lives and what are her skills, long story short, they asked a question they wish they could take back

"Why do u want to work here?"

"For money"

"Ok but any other reason?"

"Should I tell them" she thought "maybe I should, they might give me a extra money, that's if they feel bad for me"

So she told them
"I need to get money so my family don't starve my brother"

"That's kinda dark for someone's parents to do" Hendery said and then Xiaojun cut him off "am..... Mia right, did your parents sold u?" He asked in a very polite way

She didn't say anything "It's ok, u don't have to say-" She cut him off and said "Yes.... yes they did" with tears rolling down her face but she still was smiling

They all became silent but Hendery couldn't see this random girl he just met cry "D-don't do that!" Hendery said

"Huh?" She said while wiping away her tears

"Please wait in the hall for your placement" Xiaojun quickly said and she got up and left

Xiaojun could feel his heart beating rapidly as she left

Hendery never really cared for anyone but he couldn't stop himself for saying that "why?!"
