Kyle P.O.V

"Daddy?" I heard Aubrey little voice. I got up from the chair and walked to her bed.

"What's wrong baby girl?"

"It hurts." She pointed to her leg. I stood up and called the doctor in.

"What seems to be the problem?" Dr. Brown said.

"She said her leg is hurting her."

"Ok I'll and a nurse in to give her, her medicine." I nodded and he walked out.

"Daddy where's Mommy?"

"She's in another room. You want to call her?"

"Yes." I pulled out my phone and called Nicki.

"Hello?"

"Hey Nicki, are you in the room with Kelly?"

"Yeah hold on."

"Hello?" I heard Kelly.

"Hey baby, how are you feeling?"

"Sore, I got a broken arm and leg."

"It'll get better."

"I know." She sighed. "Where are you?"

"In the room with Aubrey. Hold on." I gave Aubrey the phone.

"Hi mommy."

"Hey baby."

"I miss you."

"I miss you too."

"When do we leave?"

"I don't know yet."

"Will they let me see you?"

"When the doctor come in I'll ask can I come to the other side to see you."

"Okay mommy."

"Did you eat?"

"No, I'm not hungry."

"Okay." It got silent. "Aubrey?"

"Ok I'll call you later."

"I love you too." Aubrey handed me the phone and laid down.

"I come and see you later."

"I love you too." I hung up the and fell asleep with Aubrey.

Kelly P.O.V

"Kelly it's going to be okay." Nicki wiped my tears. "You'll be able to see her later."

"I hope so."

"You will." She paused. "You know who else is admitted in the hospital."

"No, who?"

"Trevor." I raised an eyebrow. "Savage."

"Oh, why?"

"He got shot." Oh damn. "The same day as the you know."

"That's weird."

"I know. Jay came home this morning talking about it's a sign from God."

"From God?"

"Yeah he was here talking to Savage and told him to get a DNA."

"You told Jay."

"No he came home just talking about it." She sighed. "I think you and Kyle needs to talk to him about this. He has a right to know."

"I know." I laid back. "What if don't like her? What if he don't show up to take the test? What if h-"

"Stop with the what ifs. If he don't step up to the plate you know Kyle is there for you."

"Okay I'll tell Kyle what's going on."

"Alright I have to go." She stood up and grabbed her things. "I call you or drop by when I get off."

"Okay love you be careful."

"Love you too." She kissed my forehead and walked out.

"Mommy!" Aubrey yelled as I got wheeled into her room.

"Hey baby." Kyle walked out the bathroom.

"Hey baby." He said walking over to me. He pecked my lips and wheeled me to the side of her bed and I pecked her lips.

"Mommy, can you stay in here tonight?"

"I can't I have to go back to take my medicine."

"But I'll be alone."

"Daddy will be here." Kyle said.

"Okay." She sighed and started looking at tv.

"Kyle you know I saw Aubrey d-a-d-d-y."

"Yeah, what about him?"

"You think I should tell him."

"Yes, because if that was me I would want to know."

"Daddy I'm hungry."

"Here is your nuggets." He handed her a Wendy's bag.

"Thank you." She rocked back and forth eating her nuggets.

"I would've been over there earlier but I fell asleep."

"It's fine I'm here now."

"And Aubrey!" She yelled.

"We love you too Aubrey." Kyle trickled her.

"Daddy! Daddy!" She yelled through laughs. He stopped tickling her and laid next to her.

"We'll talk to him after you get out."
