That Girl

I met her through a friend, a good ol one of mine,

This girl was very nice, a personality that shines.

We soon became good friends, as the hours pass

She was really great, her voice makes me relax.

I soon began to like her, it came out of nowhere

She was truly amazing, our hearts I want to share.

Beauty, sweetness, a really sweet kind heart,

Caring, joyful, adorable, from the very start.

I just love her, she's so great, but there's something I find unclear

What if she don't feel the same way, is something I so fear.

Every time at night when we talk, I'm looking at the phone,

Waiting for her ev'ry response, so I feel much less alone.

Girl, I'll say this now, my heart, you stole from me.

Please let me have yours as well, from fear, please set me free.

When you came into my life, it took a sudden turn

Girl, I don't want to lose you now, your love I really yearn.
