Everyone seemed to be afraid of death, but they actually do not know what the afterlife brings.

— an unknown random context

It has been yet another lonely day for me. All I know is that I'm in the land of Summer in Summerland.

A boring routine was set in my body clock. Work and harvest. Eat and sleep. Nothing more if I do not do volunteer works.

Exiquel Four Bellisima. It was the same case for everyone else, weird but true. But I actually do remember some memories, I don't know why.

And that is the same case for everyone else. I therefore conclude that this life is boring. Wala man lang spice!

I sighed, again, the moment I opened the door to my home.

I looked around with wary eyes.

"Where do you think you're going, mi amore?"

I dropped the knife. It accidentally landed on my feet, so I whimpered in pain.

"The hell are you doing?!" aniya.

Napalunok naman ako bago tumingin muli sa lalaki, and that was the moment that I confirmed who it was.

He immediately knelt down and healed my foot with his healing water powers.

And yes, it was him. He had the same dark blue hair and brown eyes. His gaze drifted up to mine, and I was captivated once again. It was as if my memories came to life.

"Zero," tawag ko sa pangalan n'ya. He didn't fail, he came here to Summerland!

He slowly stood up and regained his composure. Napalunok pa s'ya habang tintitigan ako.

"I waited for you," sambit kong muli. This time, he didn't hold back and collided his lips with mine. My heart fluttered while remembering all the memories I had with him.

From Exiquel to Rory to Four.

"I... I'm sorry you waited too long. It took me long before I was able to end my own curse."

Napangiti ako. "It doesn't matter, Zero. You're here."

He returned the smile and hugged me tight. "This time, I didn't fail."

You never fail, Zero. Never.

Finally, my afterlife had some spice.
