Where the hell did she find a photo of Nick, my best friend since forever? He was a year older than me but our moms used to have playdates for us when we were small all the time which was mostly for them to talk about all the gossip in California. They were the literal Beverly Hills Moms. Since our dads were business partners we used to hang around each other all the time so we really got along. We knew everything about each other. Literally everything!! and sometimes I hated it cause he would make fun of me of all the embarrassing things my mom had told him but to be honest I missed them after he left to Switzerland for his studies five years ago and I didn't have the chance to meet him since then. I have to admit that there's something about that photo of Jo, he looks very different from what he looks in other photos. It has that playful flirtiness to it which I'm guessing is the reason Gen is definitely drooling over. For once I thought he was cute. My stomach felt empty when I look at him in the photo... is that what they call as having butterflies in your stomach?? I don't know but I don't want to catch myself having feelings for him it would ruin everything we have and I would be devastated if God forbid that happens.

Then I realized why she is talking as if she doesn't know who is...because she doesn't actually know that He is my best friend that I talk to her about all the time. I never really thought about showing his pictures to her if only I knew how she would react to him... I would've shown the pictures to her ages ago.

I roll my eyes at her text. I threw my phone on to the side of the bed and planed on a surprise party for Joel. He is might come home anytime in his father's private jet. Perfect!(note the sarcasm). A cake and some food would do ryt??
