may my deathbed be the sea
among the sharks and the fishes
in the same place where I buried my wishes
hoping that one day they'd come back to me

may my parting be in the whirlwind of the waves,
not inside dark and enclosured graves

may my spirit dance
alongside the mermaids
for a time ago I was in the middle of a nosedive
agreeing to petty trades
then I reached the ground dead: my worthless strive

the water inflicts no pain,
it calms the turmoil in my soul
here I'll keep sane and reign
no one will find me, I'm whole

consumed by the blue
sadness is all I went through
on the distant shore
where I fought my silent war

may my soul rest
and dance with the girl I once was
travelling west, forever blessed
a distant memory: my flaws
a recurrent joy: the immensity
around me
