Flashback to Earth- 8 years ago

We were at the playground, playing on the swings. We were so cute. "Look, MarMar, and Rowboat, I'm an eagle!" Anne exclaimed. "Cool, well, I'm a twin engine SEAMAX, amphibious aircraft!" Marcy explains. "And I'm a fire breathing dragon!" I added. "Roar!" All of a sudden, these older girls pushed us off the swings. "Aw, how cute, now, beat it." The brunette girl said. "These swings are ours." We were about to cry, until a young girl came to stop them. "Not so fast, evildoers!" The little girl shouted. "Leave those kids alone!" We were amazed by how tough she looked. She tried to push the older girls, but they were just confused. "I'm not done yet, I'll never give up, no matter what!" "This is getting weird." The second older girl said. "We're outta here." The brunette added. "Enjoy your swings, babies." After they left, we went to talk with the girl who defended us. "Haha, swings are all yours." She said. "Hey, you wanna swing with us?" I offered. "I, I'd like that." She replied. "I'm Anne, by the way, this is Marcy, and that's Rowena." Anne introduced. "I'm Sasha." The girl replied. "Sasha Waybright."

Present Day- Amphibia

So, the last few days have been crazy. Marcy had told us that the third and final temple was going to be tougher than the last two. Anne and I each have our own pieces of armor, I even picked out a glider with mine. Let's just say I can't stand Joe Sparrow.

Yesterday

I took Joe Sparrow for a ride. Well, only so I could jump from him. "Sayonara, Joe!" I shouted as I jumped from the bird in midair. "TAKE ME, GRAVITY!" I activated the glider and was soaring through the sky, until I crashed into a tree.

Present Day

Anyway, we were finally prepared for the last temple. After a little more practice with the glider, I flew over to this volcano with the others. "And, bam!" Anne exclaimed, pulling out the music box. "The entrance to the third temple." "What's it say, Marcy, what's it say?" Sprig begged. "Well, this can't be right." Marcy said. "Lift to enter, brah?" Frobo walked over to the entrance and lifted the stone, showing our way inside. We were impressed by his strength. "Alright, now let's crush this temple!" I exclaimed. "Look after Joe Sparrow, Frobo, we'll be back soon." Hop Pop explains as we headed inside.

When we got inside, all of us immediately started sweating, well, except for the Plantars, who don't sweat because they're frogs. "Whew, it's hot in here." Anne panted. "Alright, gang, there should be three challenges like the other two temples." "Uh, guys, you might want to take a look at this." I said, showing my friends that the Plantars were dehydrated. "Whoa, are you guys okay?" Anne asked. "A little dehydrated from the heat, we'll be alright." Hop Pop explains, sounding like he was suffocating. Walking into the next room, another clue popped up. "Whoa there, boss, think you're strong enough to get across?" Marcy translated. "I have a distinct feeling that this temple is about strength." I commented as a chest filled with weapons opened up. "Wonder what those are for." Sprig gasped as a monster came out of the lava. "Sprig!" Anne shouted, grabbing a hammer that was too heavy to lift, but that didn't stop her from knocking it down. "Man, this thing weighs a ton." Turns out there's a lot of the monsters in the lava. "Alright, guys, it's hammer time." Marcy said, handing me the hammer. "We'll defend you guys." I explained. We tried fighting them off as much as we could, but that's when it happened. One of the monsters was sliced open in half. It was Sasha. Everyone gasped. "It can't be." Anne gasped. "Is that?" I asked. "Sash!" Marcy exclaimed. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe..." "There's no time, follow me!" Sasha snapped, fighting off the monsters, and leading us out of the room.

I gotta admit, I thought Sasha would never come back. "Sasha." Anne grunted, clearly struggling to trust her. "Hey girlfriend, good to see you!" Sasha greeted in her Kawaii pose. "Uh, you too?" I questioned. Marcy ran over to Sasha, getting super excited. "Ah, Sasha, Sasha, Sasha!" Marcy exclaimed. "Hey MarMar." Sasha said, hugging her. "Whoa, check out your new threads." "Speak for yourself, look at that armor!" Marcy shouted. "How did you even find us?!" "Simple, we heard you three were traveling together and tracked you guys here." Sasha explains. "Did you just say, we?" Anne asked as Captain Grime came through the door, also dehydrated. "Even in this state, those things were no match for me." Grime said, weakly. The Plantars began to groan. "Whoa, cancel the red alert, seriously, we're not here to fight." Sasha said. "Oh, no?" Sprig grumbled. "Nope." Sasha replied. "The whole reason we were stalking you was, so I could tell both Anne and Rowena, that everything that happened at Toad Tower was my fault." "Really?" Anne asked. "Yup, it was wrong of me to put your frog friends in danger, and doubly wrong for me to push you guys around." Sasha apologized. "Wow, wasn't expecting that." I said. "Forgive me for being skeptical, but why the change of heart?" Hop Pop asked. "After Toad Tower, Sasha and I lost everything." Grime explains. "We had to go into hiding." Sasha added. "And I've had a lot of time to think about things, but, uh, what are you guys doing in a honking volcano?" "Oh, Sasha, it's crazy, the king of Amphibia told us that the music box can transport us back home!" Marcy cheered. "But the stones have to be charged at three temples first, this is the third temple." "No way!" Sasha gasped. "You mean, we can almost go home?" "Yep." Anne replied. "Each temple has a theme, and this one appears to be strength." Marcy explains. "Then it's a good thing I showed up." Sasha said. "What's that supposed to mean?" Sprig asked. "It means you three will slow us down, wait outside until we're done." Sasha replied. "Hey, you can't tell them what to do!" I snapped. "Okay, fine, it was just a suggestion." Sasha explains, leading the way again. "Now, c'mon, let's move." "You really think she's changed?" Anne whispers. "Honestly, Anne, some people never change, but Sasha is pretty tricky." I replied, walking away.

As we all continued walking through the temple, Anne and the Plantars were pretty suspicious about Sasha, and so was I. "Sup, brosef, do you even lift?" Marcy translated. "They're not even trying anymore." Anne said. "Ha, this is all me!" Sasha exclaimed. "Wait, Sash, Marcy, Rowena, and I have done these temples, and there's always some kind of cache, let's just search the room before we try that thing." Anne suggested. "Eh, that'll take too long." Sasha replied. "Besides, this temple's been direct so far." "Sasha, I think Anne's got a point." I warned. Sasha lifted the weights, opening the door to the next room. "Huh?" "This thing's gonna be over before it starts." Sasha chuckled. "Let's get going, nerds." "By nerds, she means you guys." Grime commented.

We arrived in this huge room for our final challenge. "Alright, this should be the final room." Marcy said. "You've definitely got skill, no doubt, but it's time you learned what strength is all about." All of a sudden, this stone giant came out of nowhere and challenged us to fight. "Stay back, everyone, I got this." Sasha said when suddenly, I felt like I was being crushed by something. "That thing has somehow increased the room's gravitational force!" Marcy explains. "I can't get up!" Sprig gasped. "Just sit tight!" Anne shouted. "Us humans will handle this." "You go, girls." Polly said. The giant threw some boulders towards us. I got Marcy out of the way before she could get crushed. "Thanks, Rowena." Marcy thanked. "No problem." I replied, unable to get back up. "Holy frog abuse, I feel like my lungs might explode!" "The gravity's too much, Rowena and I can't move." Marcy explains. "Don't worry, leave this to us." Sasha said, walking with Anne to fight, but not before they had a little argument. "Who would've thought, us working together, after everything that's happened." Anne grunted. "Yeah, unbelievable." Sasha complained. "Especially since you still don't trust me even after I apologized." The giant made spikes fall from above. "What?" Anne asked. "I trust you!" "Oh, please, I've been watching you this whole time, you don't trust me at all!" Sasha retorted. "Well, can you blame me?" Anne asked. "Why would I trust you? It wasn't just Toad Tower, Sasha, you've been pushing me and Rowena around our whole lives." "I know." Sasha sighed as the gravity got stronger. "It feels like my lungs are going to explode." Anne gasped. "That's what I just said!" I shouted. "It's, it's over." Sasha struggled. "You're right, we can't, but you can!" Anne shouted. "I believe in you." "What? How can you believe in me?" Sasha asked. "After I was such a jerk to you and Rowena." "Because you weren't just a jerk, you also inspired us, you're fierce, you're brave, and most importantly, you never give up." Anne replied. "You're right, I never give up!" Sasha grunted. "Not today, not EVER!" She removed some of her armor to take off some of the weight. "How heavy was that armor?!" Sprig asked. She finishes the giant by slicing it in half. The gravity in the room returned to normal after the giant was defeated. "The gravity's back to normal!" Marcy cheered. "You did it, Sash." "Here, go ahead." I said, handing her the final stone as she charged it. "Congrats, brah, you finally know what it takes to go the distance." Marcy translated. "For what is true strength without persistence?" "Wanna do the honors?" Anne asked as Sasha placed the stone on the music box. "I guess that's that, should we open it?" "No, no, no, if we turn that thing on, who knows where we'll end up." Marcy explains. "We should bring it to King Andrias so he can tell us how to use it correctly to get home." "Of course, trust Marcy to already have a plan." Sasha laughed. "Look at this, the gang, finally back together again!" Marcy exclaimed, hugging all of us. "We should probably get back to Wartwood and get these frogs, and Grime, some water." I explained.

After we got outside, Sasha began talking to both me and Anne. "Anne, thanks for all that stuff back there, believing in me and junk." Sasha thanked. "Oh, hey, no biggie, I'm sorry for not trusting you earlier." Anne apologized. "Hey Sasha, I was wondering if we could all start over and do things right this time?" I asked. "I, I'd like that." Sasha replied. "Thanks, Sasha." I said. "I had a feeling that all of this fighting between us would end one day, I'm glad that day has finally came."
