Chapter 14 Terrible, just terrible

"Put m-me d-down!" I screamed.

He let go off me.

"Jax. Jax is your brother right?" I gasped.

"Glad you figured it out sweetheart." He winked.

"How the hell are you both brothers?!"

"Well, our mother was a wizard while our father was a werewolf. Both had a happy marriage but then had many arguments and ended up divorcing. Obviously, Mother took me while Father took Jax. Then, I was trained so much of a wizard that my werewolf gene has disappeared. The same thing for Jax." He explained.

"So if Jax is full werewolf, how is he a threat?" I rubbed my neck. It was red, I could tell.

"For some reason, Jax's wizard gene is still inside. Since he is older than me, his powers are still more powerful than mine. And I, deserve to be the only powerful wizard in the world. And the only way to ensure that, is if Jax died."

"But Jax doesn't even care about the wizard world!" I protested.

"Oh, does he?" He smirked.

What did that mean?

Jax's POV

Another day, another time without Scarlett.

The first 2 months, I was in rage.

But it seems I've soften.

I tend to miss Scarlett more and more every day.

"Good morning baby." Melody whispered in my ear.

"Morning. How did you sleep?"

"Best I've ever had. Since I'm in bed with you." She flirted.

I rolled my eyes. The only person I want in my bed is Scarlett.

All I know is she is somewhere in the world. Just don't know where, and I've given up.

I kissed her forehead and get out of bed.

I went for a shower and in the middle of it, Melody stepped in.

"Why don't I help you baby?" She traced my back.

"What are you doing in here." I growled.

"I just wanted to enjoy some time with my husband." She hugged me.

"Yeah." I removed her hands.

"What's wrong baby? Did I do something wrong?" She started to tear.

I sighed and hugged her.

"No you didn't do anything wrong. But, I need some alone time right now. Okay?"

She buried her face in my chest.

I just hugged her under the shower.

I let go after she started to hug me back, probably signifying she's okay.

We showered together and Melody made many attempts to have sex with me under the shower.

I didn't respond but after I got fed up, I just ended up kissing her back.

Scarlett has left my mind, since she didn't bear my mark, she shouldn't feel any pain.

I kissed her back and wrapped my arms around her.

She wrapped her arms around me and pulled me closer to her.

I started kissing her neck. But once she started to moan, I stopped.

"I'm sorry-"

She kissed me hungrily.

I quickly pushed her back.
