Lauren woke up first again, at least she thought she did. Camila was staring at her intently.

Camila hadn't noticed Lauren was awake, she was deep in thought. Lauren cleared her throat to snap Camila out of it and it worked.

"Lauren!" Camila jumped at the noise and leaned back "I'm sorry I was-"

"Staring at me?" Lauren smirked

"Hmm." Camila hummed nervously, she wasn't sure what to say. She felt her palms getting sweaty from her nerves.

Lauren looked over in complete confusion at the blank space beside her "Where's Dinah?"

"She went home last night to see her family, she didn't stay. She did tell you." Camila answered her

"She didn't?" Lauren questioned both things Camila told her

Did Lauren dream Dinah's confession to her? Wasn't it real? Was the dream a sign? Why did she leave when she promised not to? Why didn't she remember any of it? - So many questions spun through her head almost making Lauren feel dizzy.

"Nope. She said not to wake you early before she left because you hadn't been sleeping so good." Camila added

"No..I..how come I don't remember any of this?" Lauren asked curiously

"You were drinking last night. I tried to get you to stop but you refused to every time. You got so drunk Lauren. How do you not have a hangover right now?" Camila explained

Lauren looked down at the bottles beside the bed and her eyes widened. Damn. There were like 5 empty bottles.

It was no wonder she couldn't remember last night's events. She must have gotten really fucked up after that amount of alcohol consumption.

"I, I don't get them unless I drink what's enough for me to get them. I-I'm not exactly a lightweight." Lauren stammered

"Why didn't you go home?" Lauren asked, her mind was pretty foggy

"I told you. My family are gone." Camila said sorrowfully, the pain was evident but her voice was accepting

Lauren remembered that much and suddenly felt guilty for bringing it up.

"Dinah didn't stay last night? Did she say anything to me? When did she leave here?" Lauren asked Camila what seemed like a ton of questions

"No she didn't, to both of the first 2 questions, and she left at like midnight. When I got here." Camila answered moving closer to Lauren

"Are you okay?" She asked worriedly

Lauren frowned looking down, was she okay? Peering over to the empty bottles and her own scarred arms she realised that the answer was no.

"I don't know. What's the date today?" Lauren rubbed her temples trying to make herself remember last night

"23rd of July." Camila replied and Lauren froze, she knew that date.

"Wha-what?" Lauren gulped swallowing the lump in her throat

"Its the 23rd of July." Camila repeated with a look of confusion etched on her face at Lauren

"N-No. No!" Lauren gasped and her hand flew to her mouth as she rushed out the room to the bathroom to be sick. It wasn't a hangover, it was shock and utter despair.

23rd of July, the date of the plane crash. The day she found out her family had died. The day her world fell apart.

"Lauren?? What's wrong?" Camila rushed after her holding her hair back
