By the time Xiang Yi sent the message, she realized that she had neglected Shi Sui.
The gaze in his eyes was gentle and innocent, as if he wouldn’t be offended regardless of what she did.
However, the more he acted like this, the more Xiang Yi blamed herself.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to ignore you…”
Shi Sui chuckled gently, his laughter like ripples that spread across the surface of the water of a tranquil lake under the sun. “As long as I’m with you, it doesn’t matter whether we talk or not.”
Xiang Yi agreed with him on that point.
Xiang Yi thought to herself, ‘Shi Sui is such a nice person. He’s not a picky eater, and he has a good temper too. We can have a long conversation about a single topic or simply stay silent and do our own stuff while enjoying each other’s presence. Spending time with him just feels so effortless and natural. It’s not awkward at all.’
“Shall we go back to the hotel then? I noticed that you didn’t sleep much on the plane. Do you want to take a nap and catch up on some sleep later?”
Shi Sui nodded slightly.
Xiang Yi got up and took two steps forward, but she was suddenly stopped by Shi Sui. “Xiang Yi, wait a moment.”
“Huh?”
When Xiang Yi turned around, the tip of her hair brushed against his jaw, making him feel like he was tickled by a feather.
“Can we take some pictures?” Shi Sui asked.
“Sure, I’ll stand a little farther away then. That’ll make your legs look longer…”
Shi Sui burst into laughter and seemed to be a little helpless. He pushed his gold-framed glasses with his finger and asked, “Shall we take a photo together?”
“Huh? Oh, okay…”
After handing her cell phone to the staff member, Xiang Yi stood beside Shi Sui.
The enthusiastic staff member said, “Closer, please. You two can stand closer to each other.”
Xiang Yi was still hesitating, but Shi Sui placed his arm around her shoulder in a natural manner and even held it tightly to lean closer to her.
Being held in his arms, Xiang Yi seemed to be somewhat at a loss but the staff member had already captured the photo.

They were both attractive and photogenic.
“Shall I send the photos to you?”
“Sure.”
While Xiang Yi looked through her contact list for Shi Sui’s contact number, Shi Sui saw the words ‘Zai Zai’ (means ‘son’ in Mandarin).
Xiang Yi was speechless.
Being exposed was the most ruthless.
“I’ll change it, I’ll change it right now,” Xiang Yi said as she typed the words ‘Shi Sui’ very quickly.
The first two words that popped up were ‘Shisui’ (a different pair of characters that mean “ten years old”, usually used to describe a childish person in this context), and she was about to backspace when Shi Sui hurriedly said, “Just this one will do.”
