Mi hanno promessa a uno zar che non ho mai visto. Non mi ha chiesto il nome, non mi ha scritto una lettera vera, non mi ha dato scelta. Solo un ordine. Un matrimonio deciso per politica, potere... e qualcosa che nessuno vuole spiegarmi davvero. Dicono che sia freddo come il ghiaccio, che non dimentichi nulla, che non perdoni nessuno. Eppure mi ha già mandato un regalo. E conosce dettagli di me che non dovrebbe sapere. Io non sono una pedina. Non sarò una firma su un accordo. E soprattutto... non sarò sua senza combattere. Tra intrighi di corte, segreti imperiali e una partenza che arriva troppo presto, scoprirò che lo zar non è l'unico pericolo in questa storia. E forse nemmeno il peggiore.

Lian fell on the ground, head dizzy, lungs burning, and body numb. Eno dragged herself beside them and keeps tugging their arm. Lian can't make out the words that she said but some half-words such as "hold" "wake" "call" and "stay".Lian chuckles, but blood comes out instead. 'Huh, this is ridiculous, ' they thought. ' it's as if I'm about to die right now' the thought of dying from being too drunk to think while fighting a drunk (ex)best-friend makes them laugh harder, spilling several more blood.

Antes, la gente decía que el futuro iba hacer algo maravilloso, con coches voladores y tecnología muy avanzada, pero entonces la catástrofe se desató. Y es que cuando el Zar decide empezar una guerra contra los demás países, el mundo se desestabiliza, primero caen los demás países de Asia, después Europa, Oceanía, África y por último América. Y os preguntaréis como pudo conseguir todo eso, pero es que el Zar había conseguido el poder para poder reinar, pero no para ser un gobernante bueno y amable, sino uno despiadado y arrogante. Por lo que ahora, en pleno 2156, los países le temen al Zar, la gente se muere de hambre y la tecnología está más que atrasada... Pero espera un momento, ha ocurrido algo, el Zar está inquieto ¿Qué es lo que habrá pasado?
