Cassiopeia is a young Jedi, still healing from losing her master in battle. When reunited with a clone trooper from her past, she finds herself working with one of the most recognizable clone forces in the Republic. One member of the squad seems particularly drawn to her, and her to him. Caring and curious Cassiopeia feels the force pull her to intelligent and talkative Tech, but neither of them seem to understand the inevitability of it all. During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech. Astra, a genetically enhanced clone designed for stealth, was trained and raised with the members of The Bad Batch. During his visit to Kamino, she meets Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Sensing her sensitivity to the Force, Obi-Wan brings Astra before the Jedi Council, who agree to let Obi-Wan train her in the ways of the Force but not as a Jedi. However, because of this, Astra is reassigned to the 212th, becomes General Kenobi's right hand, and has to leave the four men she considers brothers behind. It is then that she's reminded that Echo is the one who leads her to her chosen one, a tall handsome clone who goes by Hunter to his fellow 'defective' clones, Clone Force 99.
