Your marriage to Prince Telemachus had been arranged since before you were born. For nearly twenty years, your family travelled to Ithaca to foster that relationship, hoping that one day you and the prince would come to terms with it on your own. Love cannot be forced, however, and in its place brewed a vibrant disdain for one another.
When the gods set their sights on something, though, they stop at nothing to take it for themselves. Feelings of hatred and discontent finally settle, blooming into something more gentle and caring, but you are ripped away from it. Trapped as the object of a god's affections, you hold onto the final strands of hope that someone will save you.
