Brianna only worries, were, trying to keep strong after Tyler died, and trying to figure out how her "mother" was always, appearing where she shouldn't be. However that was before people started feeding on each other.... Death was no longer called into faction; the unthinkable was suddenly becoming possible. The people that were supposed to be died, were now walking the earth, and the world as she know it was slowly becoming no more. Derrick wasn't one to seek attention; he liked to remain in the shadows that way people don't have a reason to pry to close. To the fact that sixteenth year old, seems to be living by himself, under no "supervision" of an adult. That was before she appeared in his life.... One look and he know, without a shadow of a doubt, do anything to keep her safe. Until now he only watched from the shadows, making sure she doesn't get into any trouble she couldn't get out of. But that all changed, the night he received a text that rudely awoke him from his slumber.... He was about to dismissed the message, when he realized the sender was his "father". He knows he only had a couple of hours before the world was would be change forever. But no matter the situation, he couldn't seem to get his mind to focus to the tactic at hand.... Thoughts of her continued to invade his mind, one thing he know for certain was, he wasn't leaving without her. The last few days from the last few people on earth. Albert and Jesse has been stuck in there fortified home for too long. As if limited resources and frequent power outages weren't enough, their 2 month old baby gets ill. Just a few blocks from their home is the pharmacy. And just a few feet from their doorstep is the undead. ( Being one of the most penned plots on sci-fi/horror genre, I have tried my max to keep it alive by backing it up with the most plausible zombie theories.)
