As I set in class I couldn't help but feel the two sets of eyes burning holes into me. Since I've met Kageyama and Hinata I've always caught them staring at me during class, at practice, or anywhere else I ran into them. Everywhere I would at the school I would run into one of the volleyball team members. If other students try to have a conversation a volleyball member always showed up to pull me away.
My class was boring and I always daze off during lessons. Sometimes I would be thinking about books I read or a show I had recently watched. These thoughts always drowned out the world around me.
"Hey y/n you awake" Hinata's face was inches away from mine as he pulled me out of my thoughts
"What are you doing" I accidentally shouted out a fright
Hinata was unbothered by my shouting as he grabbed my hand pulling me out of my seat "Let's go to lunch, Y/n"
Hinata, Kageyama, and I go to our usual spot outside to eat our lunch. Even though eating lunch with them was becoming more comfortable Kiyoko had me promise that I would try eat with other students. She was trying to get me out of my shell but I was still nervous about it.
"So I was thinking maybe tomorrow I would try and have lunch with some of our classmates," I told Hinata and Kageyama my idea
"Why would you do that" Kageyama's voice was so icy it made me shiver
"Do you not like us?" Hinata asked pouting at me
"N-no of course I like you-"
"Then why do you want to eat with someone else," Kageyama said interrupting me
I felt so uncomfortable but also felt like I was in the wrong. They made me feel like how my dad used to so I reverted to my people-pleaser personality.
"I'm sorry my sister just said I should make some more friends," I said trying to soothe the two agitated males
Hinata grabs my face holding it in his palms. I wanted to jerk away but my body wouldn't listen to me.
"We're your friends Y/n. You don't want to be around strangers who are just going to make you nervous. If your sister cares about your health she wouldn't push you to do stuff that makes you uncomfortable" Hinata's voice was sickly sweet
Hinata squeezed my face gently before letting me go. I try to smile but even I could tell it looked awkward on my face.
"Your right I'm sorry for making the suggestion to eat with others" I didn't argue further my stomach was twisted into knots making my food look enjoyable "Would you like the rest of my bento I'm not really hungry"
"Thanks" Hinata took my bento and scruff it down in a second
The awkwardness from lunch carried over into practice. Hinata and Kageyama seemed scared of me making other friends so they were acting clingy. During practice, they made me throw balls to Kageyama so he could set them for Hinata.
"Y/n can you come here" Kiyoko called from the sideline
"Yes," I noticed that Yamaguchi wasn't doing anything "Yamguichi do you mind taking my place and helping Kageyama and Hinata"
"Y-yeah I can help" Yamaguchi's face became bright red
"Thank you" It's like I got second-hand embarrassment from Yamaguchi as my face also became red.
I ran over to Kiyoko but I noticed that Kageyama and Hinata both looked mad. Even if they wanted me to continue to help them it was not like I was able to. Kiyoko was the head manager when she ask me to do something I had to do it.
"What is it, Sis," I asked once I reached her
"I have some laundry that needs to be folded in the club room can you do it?" Kiyoko answered
A chance to be alone sounded amazing "Of course" I cheerfully replied
"Once you are done you can head home I have to stay after. There are some classmates of mine that need help studying" She gave me a worried look before speaking further "Well you be okay walking home by yourself?"
"Of course, I used to walk home by myself all the time in Tokyo"
I gave her a thumbs up and walked to the clubroom. There was a large pile of towels waiting for me. I stood with my back to the door as I fold the laundry. When I was halfway through the laundry I felt a pair of hands grab me by the waist. The person pulled me against their body. They were so tall that my head only reached their chest.
"Ahhhh what are you doing" I shouted looking up to see Tsukishima behind me
"I came to finish what we started yesterday. I wanted to get to you sooner but your sister has been keeping a close eye on you" There was a smirk on his face as he spoke
I pushed myself away from Tsukishima getting out of his grasp. I started to back away from him. Tsukishima stalked toward me like a natural predator. The door was behind him so if I wanted to get out I had to get past Tsukishima. I quickly try to duck past him and run to the door but he caught me by the back of my collar. My body was jerked and slammed into a nearby wall. I let out a whimper from the pain I felt in my back.
"Nowhere were we," he asked in a mocking tone "Oh yes I was going to give you what you were asking for."
I try to yell but before I could Tsukishima smashed his lips onto mine. His lips were very soft and under different circumstances, I might have enjoyed this but at this moment I didn't. His tongue swept across my lips asking for access but I kept my mouth sealed shut. Until I felt his hand run down my back stopping at my ass. He grabbed my ass cheek roughly causing me to gasp giving him the opportunity to stick his tongue into my mouth. It felt disgusting to have his tongue roam the inside of my mouth.
I felt hopeless and tears threaten to spill from my eyes. We both jumped when we heard someone clear their throat from inside the room. Tsukishima and I looked to see Suga standing at the door.
"This is not the place for that," Suga stated
"Tssk" Tsukishima was annoyed "We were done anyway"
Tsukishima stormed out of the club room leaving Suga and a flustered me behind. I felt so disgusted as Suga turn his eyes to me.
"Wow your sister was right you are a handful," he said with a perfect smile on his face.
Those words stung even if they weren't supposed to. My sister had never said anything like that to me but Suga was her friend. They probably talked about things together that she wouldn't be comfortable telling me.
"What do mean," I asked
"Oh she just talks about how she is always having to take care of you and also how you are a magnet for trouble" he walked over and pats my head "I'm sure she doesn't mean it in a bad way"
"How about I finish up here and you go ahead and head home? It's getting late and a pretty girl like you shouldn't be out late something bad could happen" There was a threatening feeling behind his words but his smile never went away.
I grabbed my thing and left the club room feeling sad and scared.
IWAZUMI POV
I watched from afar as Oikawa was surrounded by his fangirls. It was hard not to hate the guy for being so popular with ladies. I pushed my way past the fangirls who all glared at me. I started to pull Oikawa away by the back of his shirt.
"Come on Shittykawa I want to stop by the 711 and get some food." I spat at him
All of his fangirls started to whine and protest about him leaving. Some of them even started to cry.
"Don't worry ladies I shall grace you with my beauty another time" Oikawa shouted to the fangirls as he was dragged away
I stopped dragging him as he walked in step with me. It was already dark but I wanted food from the convenience store.
"You know you'll never get a girlfriend if you don't learn how to be nice to girls" Oikawa commented
"Why would I take advice from a guy who can't make a relationship last more than a week" I snapped at him
"I can't help that all my girlfriends get jealous over my fans" he tries to defend himself
Oikawa would not shut up till we got to 711 luckily he got distracted by the milk bread. I went over to look at the premade Bentos I decided on a tonkatsu bento. I went to grab it but my hand collided with a smaller softer hand.
A young woman with h/c hair was the owner of the hand. She pulled away quickly and her face turns bright red.
"I'm sorry," she said in a soft whisper that sent my heart racing.
"No, it's not a problem you go ahead and take it I'll get this chicken bento" I offered to get the less delicious bento so she could have the good one
She smiled at me causing my breath to hitch in my throat. The mystery girl reaches down taking the bento.
"I'm Iwazumi Hajime" I wanted to keep her talking so she would stay.
"I'm y/n l/n it's nice to meet you" She seemed uncertain about telling me her name
"Who's this Iwa-chan," said an annoying voice beside me
I couldn't help but worry that Oikawa was going to steal her attention away. Oikawa stood beside me most likely to get a better view of y/n. Y/n seem to become more flustered now that there was another guy staring at her.
"Hello, beautiful" Oikawa grabbed y/n's hand placing a kiss on the back of it "I know you must know who I am the amazing Oikawa."
"I'm sorry I've never heard of you," y/n said pulling her hand away from Oikawa
I couldn't contain my laughter just seeing a girl who didn't swoon for Oikawa was hilarious.
"Oh, I see you most not like volleyball" Oikawa was trying to find an excuse for why she wouldn't know him.
"Actually I'm a manager for the Karasuno boy's volleyball team" y/n stated
I recognize the name of the school there was the school Kageyama was going to. This would most likely piss Oikawa off.
"Karasuno we actually have a practice match against them next week," I said
"Oh you both play for Aobajohsai everyone is excited about the game especially Kageyama" Y/n stated
Oikawa came out of his shock state after hearing Kageyama's name.
"Are you friends with Kageyama?" Oikawa asked in a flat voice
The change in Oikawa's voice seems to make y/n nervous. She looked like a frightened bunny looking for a place to run.
"We are around each other all the time," she said in a quiet voice not stating that they were friends
I could already tell Oikawa wanted to take her from Kageyama. Oikawa and I both seem to have gotten strangely attached to Y/n. I grabbed my bento and then took the one y/n had in her hands. She looked at me with a sad face assuming I was going to steal her food.
"I'm going to buy this for you as a thank you for the entertainment also I would like to walk you home since it's dark outside," I said giving her a warm smile
She was about to protest but Oikawa interrupted her "Please it's dangerous for females at night we would hate it if you got hurt"
Y/n agreed to let us walk her home not that we gave her much of a choice in the matter. I paid for y/n and my food and reluctantly paid for Oikawa's milk bread. We exchange small talk on the way to her house but got important information from the chat. She lived with her mom and her sister and she didn't talk about her father.
"This is my home," y/n said pointing to the small family home
She deserves better than this. I could give her a much better house once we are married.
"Before you go can we get your number," Oikawa asked
I seem like she was going to say no so I decided to guilt her into giving it to us.
"Yes we would like to text you to inform you when we get home safely," I added
You could see the guilt on her face so we all exchanged phones programming each other's contact information. After we told her good night and watched as she entered her home only then did Oikawa and I started to head home.
"She is very cute" Oikawa stated
"Especially when she gets flustered that's when she's the cutest," I replied
"Let's share her" Oikawa had an evil smirk on his face
"If we bring her around our teammates they will want her too" I had to state the obvious
"I'm fine with that" Oikawa laughed "That just means more people to keep her away from Tobio."
Y/n never left my thoughts I couldn't wait for the week to be over so I can see her again.
