Imagine: Comforting Your Newborn.

Summary: You and your fiancé Matt have been at home for an hour with your new baby boy and you're trying to take a well deserved nap when your son starts crying then he stops. You go into his nursery only to see your fiancé comforting his newborn son.
You and your fiancé Matt have just gotten home from the hospital with your newborn son Y/S/N. You couldn't help but smile at your son and you also remember telling Matt like it was yesterday.
FlashBack
Matt has been with his mom getting her money so that she can pay to get her medications for her illness. You had decided to take a test just to see if you could be pregnant. By the time the timer went off the front door to the house was closed.
Matt: Y/N I'm home!
Y/N: Welcome home! I'll be out in one second!
Matt: Ok! Take your time!
You turned the test over and you saw two pink lines. The shock that ran over you was a lot but then you got happy and you decided that telling Matt could not wait. So you put the test in your pocket and went to where Matt was.
Matt: There's my gorgeous fiancé how are you love?
Y/N: I've been good I missed you.
Matt: Missed you too.
You both peck each other on the lips and pull away with a smile on both of your faces.
Y/N: So how was your day?
Matt: Well Joey was being a shiznit as usual...
He started telling you about his day but it mainly consisted of him talking about his brother Joey when a perfect idea came to your mind. You slowly moved your hand to your pocket while he was talking and you slowly pulled out the pregnancy test and then you slowly held the test in front of you and waited for him to look at it.
Matt: And then Joey had the nerve to say something about you and- what is that?
Y/N: I'm pregnant.
Matt: You're- you're p- pregnant?
Y/N: Yeah.
Matt: Oh. My. God. You don't know how happy you've just made me princess. I can't believe that we're gonna be parents.
Y/N: I know me either.
Matt: I love you so much.
Y/N: I love you so much too.
You saw him bend down so that he was eye level with your belly.
Matt: And I love you so much whatever gender you are. Thank you for making your mother and I the happiest people on earth.
For now you both have decided not to tell people until the baby is born. But your both so excited to become parents.
You Go Into Labor
You are in your shared bed with your fiancé Matt when you felt a sharp pain in your stomach that just made you sit up real fast. You rubbed your stomach and you were able to lay down and go back to sleep. Well you thought wrong. You woke up again to pain in your stomach this time it lasted a little longer so you went to the bathroom. After you did your bath room business you had noticed that your water had broken so you decided to wake up your fiancé.
Y/N: Matt. Wake up babe. Get ready.
Matt: Why is everything ok? Is the baby ok?
Y/N: Everything is fine. But don't forget to grab our stuff.
Matt: Why?
Y/N: The baby is coming! Oh and by the way happy birthday babe.
Matt: Thank you baby.
He grabs everything that was laid out and he put it into your car and then he came back in to come get you. Once you both were settled you were off to the hospital to have your baby.
In The Hospital During Birth
It's been a few hours since you arrived at the hospital and your now about to give birth. The doctors and nurses tell you what you need to do and how to control your breathing before you start pushing to give birth to your baby.
Newborn Cries
Doctor: Congrats you have a healthy baby boy!
Matt leans in towards your neck and starts crying happy tears. Once he's composed himself he sees his the nurse holding his son.
Nurse: Congratulations dad.
Matt: Thank you.
Once the baby was in his arms the baby whined a little but he got him to stop before he started crying. You couldn't help but to smile at how good of a father Matt is already. You couldn't wait to marry this man so that you guys could be a family of three.
End Of FlashBack
Matt had lifted his son from his car seat and held him in his arms. You walked over to where they were.
Matt: Look at him he's got my eyes.
Y/N: Well obviously! And he's also got your eye brows too.
Matt: Yeah but he's got your nose.
Y/N: He does but he'll grow into his.
You both laugh quietly. He brings his little hand up to his face and starts sucking. You go make a bottle so that Matt could feed him. Once you come back with his bottle you hand it to Matt and your son begins to drink his milk.
When he's done you go wash the bottle and leave it to dry then you go into your sons nursery change him and put him down for a nap.
Matt: Come on babe let's go take a nap.
Y/N: Why?
Matt: We'll need sleep just incase he decides to get up in the middle of the night.
Y/N: Ok.
Once your both in your bed room with the door open and both of your heads hit your pillows you both fall asleep instantly.
An Hour Later
You both were taking a nap when you heard your son start crying. You go to get up but you feel a hand on your chest.
Matt: Babe I'll get him.
Y/N: Are you sure?
Matt: Yes. Get some rest.
He kissed you on the forehead and headed to your sons nursery. You decided to get up and so you make your way to your sons nursery where Matt was.
Y/S/N: Wahhhhhhhh!
Matt: Hey hey it's ok. Shhhhhhhhh. There you go no need to cry daddy's here.
You look and see that Matt has comforted your son and he's stopped crying. You couldn't help but to smile at the sight in front of you. Your fiancé Matt and your son Y/S/N. You walk inside and continue over to the two of them.
Matt: Love your supposed to be in bed.
Y/N: I know but I saw you two and I wanted to put him back to sleep with you.
You both stood there a little bit longer and then you both kissed your son before putting him back in his crib. You turned the light out on the way out of his room and went back into your room to lay down.
Once you both were laid down and your eyes were closed before you could drift off to sleep Matt spoke up.
Matt: Thank you.
Y/N: For what?
Matt: For giving me a child. I know we're not married yet and we had one a little earlier in our plans but I wouldn't change that for anything. I love you both so much.
Y/N: We love you too.
You both got comfy and fell asleep for round 2 of your nap with smiles on your faces knowing that you will soon be an official family of 3 and you couldn't wait to spend the rest of your life with Matt and your son.
