Also, I got one more 15x18 one shot coming after this even though the next episode already aired (I might try and write some non 15x18 one shots at some point, I just need to reevaluate my plans since Canon has changed greatly)
Wow, just... wow. That episode had a lot of ups and downs for me. First of all, making Chuck human so he has to live like the rest of us? Poetic, while still being the most winchester move you can make. Jack becoming God? Incredible (although if he is god he should have brought Cas back >:( he's your dad gosh dang it). The montage at the end? You best bet I cried! Hotel? Trivago.
Dean: I do wish he acknowledged Cas' confession more so than just his death, but before people say he ignored it completely, there were little things he did that show he's in mourning (alcoholism, asking for chuck to bring him back, looking so hopeful but so crushed when lucifer pretended to be cas). Again, this is Dean, the man who buries his emotions until they destroy him, don't blame Jensen. I'm still holding onto some hope that he can give Cas a proper goodbye, hell, that all the characters can give Cas a proper goodbye in the final episode. (Fyi I am still emotionally reeling after 15x18 even with a new episode out, I may never recover fully lmao)
I did love bringing back the archangels one final time (especially lucifer, he is iconic) and I loved seeing Chuck going through becoming human, I think it's a fitting ending for him. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this episode?
