I woke up with the sun blaring in my eyes and my phone ringing
“hello” I said groggily
“what are you doing” Kat’s perky voice said on the other line.
“sleeping what” I growled out at her
“come on lets do something” she whined out
“like…” I was going to go with it I know I won't win this
“Cedar point” she recommended
“don’t like roller coasters”
“movies” she asked
“nothing good playing”
“then the same thing we do every weekend” she side out
“fine”
“be there in 10” she said hanging up
most weekends Kat and I go and climb in the woods, and buy pop and junk food. We have been on this schedule for… 4 years for a long time, considering I’m 16 now. grab what I need to, a small first aid kit, money, and my phone. I hear the door open and close quickly.
“I’M HOME!” I hear Kat yell
I walk down and see kat at the door and Matt and Marcus sitting on the couch looking flustered. Well good thing you can hear Kat befor you can hear her… don’t want to know what she would have walked in on.
“welcome home love” I said giggling “come on… ohh one sec you got a swimsuit?”
“no but I got one here right”
“yes upstairs come on...and Matt you have a room, with a door, and a lock use it.” I said walking back up the stairs to my room. I grab some swim trunks and walk to her.
“there were ready” I said grabbing one last thing, very important.

“Jake!” my little sister Elly yelled jumping on me as I continue type on my laptop.
“yes Elly” I ask
“play with me… Izzy’s not home”
“well I half to umm…”
“thats cold Jake, not playing with a 6 year old...heartless” a voice said from my doorway. I turn around to see my sister skyler (I don’t remember if she was home already)
“Sky your home...If its so mean why don't you” I grumbled out taking Elly off my lap.
“I’m not cold, come on Elly I’ll play with you sweetie” Sky said talking Elly’s hand. I close my laptop and grab some close ‘guess I’ll go for a run’ I think sighing and walking out of my bedroom. I walked downstairs to see sky and Elly coloring on the floor.
“where are you going” skyler asked me without turning around
“on a run, see you later” I say running out the door transforming into a onyx wolf, and running into the thick woods behind the house. as soon as I broke into the woods I could smell the fresh water spring not far from my house. I take off in that direction the closer I got the more I could smell him. I speed up trying to get closer I hear my breath pick up and my sight sharpened I could hear every stick crack under my paws. I broke from the woods to see my mate Alex, and his friend Kat sitting on a big rock. Kat automatically went on defence
“Alex run!” she told him
“why it’s just a wolf, and don’t yell if you want it to leave.”
“how can you be calm, and you… leave” she growled at me
“stop let him be, he’s not going to hurt us… god if it bugs you that much we’ll leave. the size is concerning but he most likely just wants a drink or something” Alex said getting up and brushing off his legs off.
“but--”
“no buts come on lets come back later" I told her standing brushing myself off and walking away. I her her say something I couldn't hear. I don’t get why she was yelling at him, not like he understands he's a wolf not human. Kat can be really weird sometimes
“where do you want to go” I ask as she caught up to meI said not willing to share the modified notes part
“why weren't you just my partner” she whined out
“he said table partner I couldn’t chose” I said flinching back
“the ass paid him or something” she growled out and she started to pace back and forth.
“I don’t think it works that way Kat” I whispered
“please its easy to bribe him, kelly gives him blowjobs for A’s” she ranted
“well thats true, but stop bugging Ill just tell Matt he’ll take care of it ok” I said tring to calm her down [
“Fine! you better’ she said stomping off. great just great
“umm…Subway” Kat suggested putting her hands in her pockets
“fine, are we going back after” I ask her walking out of the small woods
“yeah, and he better not be there” she said the last part under her breath.
“stop he was just wondering. come on Subways still like 10 minutes away. Change the topic--”
“Ok what happened with Jacob!” she yelled in my face
“what do you mean you didn’t care when it happened”
“well I care now”
“I told you, we got that project and he came over to work on it. He gave me some notes, he got a call and kissed me. well on the head which I don’t think counts, but then he ran off"
----------------Jacob’s PoV--------------
I followed closely behind Alex and Kat as they walked back from getting their food. neither were talking to each other
“sorry” Alex said to a calm Kat
“you’ve nothing to apologize for” she said in a almost scarily calm voice shrugging and shoving her hands in her pockets.
“but your mad at me I must have done something” he said falling back
“I’m not mad at you” she said entering the small park outside the woods
“yes you are, you would talk to me if you were ok” Ales pleaded tears in his eyes as Kat’s ears twitched. Thats when I nodist it to there are hybrids in the forest
“I half to go” Kat told Alex before running off.
“come on wolf boy… there after your mate not mine” she growled at me running past. there after what!?
