"So you don't think it's too much?" Loyola asked standing in front of the mirror whilst anxiously looking at her outfit for what seemed the millionth time
"No" I responded, chuckling slightly "You're just nervous and indecisive" I affirmed as my eyes followed the trail of clothes lying on the floor
"Me? Indecisive?" She teased before checking herself out one last time in the mirror and walking towards me
"Alright, I'm ready" she gushed, her eyes almost gleaming with joy causing my own lips to lift upwards
"I'm so excited for you" I said looking at her genuinely before giving her a hug as she squealed enthusiastically
Today is her one year anniversary with her boyfriend and she wanted to come over and get my opinion on her outfit
"Oh shit, I gotta go if I wanna make it on time" she said eagerly after checking her phone
I nodded my head understandably so before hyping her up one last time and waving her off
Loyola is a girl I met my first year of University. She sat next to me in biology on the first day and complimented my outfit. Since then, we've been really good friends. She reminded me of Taylor mixed with Ben. She was sweet like Ben but once she got comfortable, became as open as Taylor.
ugh I miss Taylor I thought, frowning slightly
While I stayed in town for University, Taylor chose a school four hours away and while we still manage to talk every week, it's still something that needs time to get used to, you know? It's hard to transition from seeing her everyday to being limited to once every month but thank goodness for technology
Safe to presume many things have changed but that's what comes with growing up

Okay, let's see if I got this. While it's best to combine all techniques together for an almost assure result, everything is significantly made for the patient's needs. If one is dealing with depression, psychoanalysis and biomedical approaches would be best. The patient should be able to communicate what is troubling them and find coping mechanisms on how to overcome negative feelings. If the patient is still feeling troubled and talk therapy is seeming less comforting, antidepressants should be added to balance brain chemicals, also referred to as neurotransmitters. If one is dealing with anxiety regarding fear, psychoanalysis and cognitive therapy should be use-
"Hey you"
I looked up only to see Elijah standing infront of me with his hands pressed in his pockets, giving me a soft smile
"Hey Elijah" I greeted, grinning back at him as I scooted a little bit to the left so that he could take a seat
"You know you can call me Eli right?" He jokingly teased as he raised his eyebrow only slightly before taking a seat
"But Elijah sounds so much better" I whined, pouting my bottom lip as I gave him my best puppy dog eyes
His lips formed into a small smirk as he rolled his eyes in a teasing manner before nodding his head knowing there's nothing he could say to stop me from saying his full name
Makes me feel as though I'm Elena when I say his full name if you know what I mean
Elijah and I became partners for an assignment in psychology and have since became one another's study buddy. Every Wednesday we meet at a Starbucks near campus and have a small study session
He was actually quite attractive with honey eyes and dark curly hair. He also had this one dimple on the right side of his cheek that made him even more adorable
He was also gay and dating Ben
Oh did I tell you guys? Ben came out bi two years ago
The day he quit working in the cafe he invited Taylor and I over for celebratory drinks and he bought a cake with "The job isn't the only thing I began sucking on" spelled out on top of it
A small chuckle escaped my lips as I thought back to that day and how mad he got at us for taking so long to fully understand what he was implying
"Have you started preparing for the exam?" He asked, creasing his eyebrows
Oh shit, I spaced out
"I was studying a little before you got here but other than that, not really" I replied honestly as he nodded his head in acknowledgement
"Then lets get to work" He said before gently squeezing my cheek causing me to slap his arm away
"Bro you're going to ruin my makeup" I groaned
"BrO yOu'Re GoInG tO rUiN mY mAkEuP" He mocked in a high pitch voice as I threw my head back laughing
--------------------------
"Alright seems like we are set" He announced, looking pretty satisfied as I hummed in agreement
"Same time next week?" He asked, grinning at me revealing his little dimple causing me to mentally awe at the sight
"Absolutely" I responded smiling back at him before proceeding to pack up my books
As I got up and walked towards the exit, my eyes lingered on the back of a mans head whom was standing in line conversing with a woman
I stopped mid way, creasing my eyebrows as something about his hair looked oddly familiar
Hell, his whole body looked oddly familiar
I tilted my head slightly to the right trying to decipher where I have seen him or even if I have
Can't really tell much by someones backside..
"Uh you good there?" Elijah's voice popped up snapping me away from my thoughts
"Hm?" I hummed as he looked at me expectedly, "Oh, right. Yea, I'm fine, sorry" I confirmed, chuckling slightly
"Alright then" He said, not looking too convinced causing me to give him a reassuring smile in return
"Well you ready to leave?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he readjusted his belongings on his back
I tore my eyes away from Elijah to look at the stranger once more to see his arm now resting on the woman's shoulder
"Uhm you know what" I said returning my attention back at him, "I'll be there in a minute, okay?"
He creased his eyebrows before shrugging and nodding his head nonchalantly
I bit the inside of my cheek before returning my gaze back on the man
I just know that I know him
I know it
With that thought in mind, I walked towards the man as I felt my heart-rate accelerate slightly at what I was about to do
This is going to be so damn awkward
"Um, excuse me sir" I said causing the man to finally turn around, making me freeze in place
My eyes widened as my mouth opened slightly as his grey eyes connected with mine
His confused state turned into shock almost instantly as his face now mirrored my own expression
Blake
That's why he looked familiar, I thought cursing at myself
It's him
"uh I-" I stuttered not knowing what to say, his intense stare only worsening my nervousness
I coughed slightly trying to shake my nerves away as I tucked my hair behind my ear
"Hi" I muttered playing with the hems of my sweater before giving him an awkward smile
His eyes remained concentrated on mine as I saw his eyebrows crease slightly and his teeth graze his bottom lip causing my eyes to focus on the action
"Mi amor?"
My eyes snapped towards the voice
The feminine voice
Her forest green eyes stared at me in curiousity as her dirty blonde hair framed her soft features.
She was honestly beautiful but the only thing I was focused on was her hand comfortably placed onto Blake's hand
"Sorry love" He muttered
I was about to say it's alright until I realized he wasn't speaking to me.
His gaze now lied onto her
"This is Angela" He introduced
I forgot how deep and attractive his voice was
"Hi" I waved awkwardly as her eyes slightly widened in recognition causing me to look at her in confusion
"Angela?" she asked only for me to nod my head slowly affirming her thoughts
So he has spoken of me...
Her eyes scanned me slowly from head to toe, similarly analyzing me the way Blake does
Or moreso did
"Nice to meet you, I'm Francesca" She greeted with a tight lipped smile, taking a step closer to Blake, an action that didn't go unnoticed by either me or him as I noticed he wrapped his arm around her in almost reassurance
The action most certainly gave her butterflies but for some reason seeing it pained me more than I ever thought it would
I scolded myself mentally, mostly trying to rid myself of what I was feeling
"Nice to meet you too" I said softly before nibbling on the inside of my cheek and wrapping my arms around myself
We stood there for about 30 seconds just uncomfortably staring at one another until I couldn't take the tension much longer
I let out a cough, running my hands through my hair before giving them a small chuckle, "this is awkward" I announced, only for Blake to remain motionless while the girl looked at me in almost distaste
Yeah..that didn't break the ice at all
"Right um, well I'm going to go" I said keeping my gaze on the girl before locking eyes with a pair of grey ones I knew far too well
"It was nice to see you again Blake" I said politely as his posture stiffened while his eyes hardened for a mere second until he relaxed his stance and gave me a closed mouthed smile
"You aswell" he responded dryly, breaking our eye contact and turning to his girlfriend and giving her another reassuring look
Damn...
As I walked away, I turned to look at them one last time
Them talking and holding one another
He seems happy. Definitely more calmer, I thought
Like I said previously..
