Jeongyeon and Jimin were walking in the middle of the night outside the house towards the tree Jeongyeon wants to go to.
Jeongyeon is pulling him
"Yaaaah! Jagi, c'mon let's go back home. I'll buy you tomorrow I promise." Jimin said
"No! I want it right now!" she said
Then they reached the tree.
"There, get me what I want." she said and then pointed at the tree
Jimin really doesn't want to.

Really, what has gotten into her? Why is she like this? So cranky and demanding.
Honestly, the moment she told me to pick her a mango in the tree in the middle of the night I was scared.
Why?
Because, when we were all kids, halmeoni always told us that there are mysterious creatures living in huge trees like mango trees. And once we disturb those creatures they will do something bad to us.
"What?! No! Jagi, c'mon let's just go home." I said pulling Jeongyeon far from the tree
But, she was stubborn, she did not let me pull her and instead, she pulled me back.
She pointed at the tree again
"Fetch me what I want! Or else I am telling you Jimin, you are going to regret it." she said
She is making me scared of her. I looked at her and then to the tree and back to her. I scratched the back of my hair and then gave in to what she wants.
I walked nervously to the tree. I prayed that what halmeoni told us before are just myths. I said the chant that halmeoni taught us as shield against those said mysterious creatures
Tabi, tabi nuno po, wag po manununo
I whispered to myself

I then held the tree and took a deep breath. I tightened my grip on the branch and then started to climb the tree. It was hard to climb the tree and I think the last time I climbed a tree was when I was in sixth grade. Ghad, that was so long ago.
"There, there, pick that one on your left, the big one." she pointed excitedly
I looked at my left and saw the mango she wanted. I extended my hand to reach the mango and the other hand holding on tight to the branch to keep me from falling.
"Yeah there, you are doing great." Jeongyeon cheered
She is smiling like a child there, waiting for me to give her what she wants. She has her eye smile and her hands are clasped. Ghad she looks so cute but I am annoyed that I am here like an idiot.
When I finally reached the fruit, I pulled it and when I finally had it in my hand Jeongyeon cheered and clapped her hands
"Wooow! Yehey! Thank you jiminie..." she cheered and then, I bended down to give her the fruit, she reached it and when she got hold of the mango her eyes were twinkling.
Oh thank God, I am done. I can go back down. I was about to climb down but she stopped me.
"Oh wait! Get me another one." she said
My eyes widened
"What?!"
She held her chin and looked at the tree and searched.
"There! That one too!" she pointed at another one
I looked at where she was pointing at.
"Jeongyeon?! No not that one." I protested, the fruit was just so far and I won't be able to reach it
"Aaaanniiii, you can do it. Go on!" she said
Ghad, she is so stubborn. I am left with no choice. I moved to the right and then moved carefully. I set foot on the huge branch and held on the upper branch with both my hands. I stepped sideways slowly and cautiously, the farther I walk, the thinner the branch gets.
When I knew, the following branch can't hold me anymore, I tried to reach the mango. I extended my arms but, I just can't reach it.
"Jeongie, I can't reach it!"I said
"Jagi, I know you can do it! Go on! Go Park Jimin! Park Jimin! Park Jimin!" she cheered
My ghad, what am I in a sport? I extended my arm once again and I moved my feet a bit more and I feel the danger.
I tried to reach it again
"Ah-I can't reach it!" I said

Jeongyeon then realized that he really can't reach it.
"Well, I guess one would be enough." she murmured to herself.
"You can't reach it?" she asked
"I can't" he answered.
"Oh well never mind. C'mon, let's head back." she said enthusiastically and then made on her way ahead Jimin
The moment she turned around to go back, the branch cracked and Jimin swung and he lost balance. He lost hold of the branch and he almost fell. Thankfully his reflexes are fast. He was hanging upside down. His leg crossed around the branch and his arms hanging
"Ah! Jeongyeon!" he shouted
Jeongyeon then tilted her head and she saw him hanging there like a monkey. She laughed at him and walked back at him
"Uhm, help..." he said
Jeongyeon chuckled
"Omyghud." she said
But, she found him very cute. They both chuckled. Jeongyeon brushed his hair. They were smiling and chuckling ans then she held his cheek with one hand. Jeongyeon then closed her eyes, and kissed him. With her kiss, Jimin forgot that he was scared for hanging on the tree. After a few seconds, she moved back and then she held his hand. Jimin swung his other arm on the branch and tightened his grip. He then carefully and slowly removed his leg from the branch and then he positioned himself back up properly. And then, he jumped down and he landed on his feet. Jeongyeon smiled at him and they head back to the house. Jimin held his arm around her holding her shoulder. They walked back close to each other
The next day, during work, Jeongyeon felt dizzy again and she was pale.
"Unnie, you must rest" Sana insisted.
"Girls, don't worry about me. I am fine. I guess I just lost some sleep last night because Jimin and I went out last night, he picked me a fruit." she said
"But unnie, you've been like that for so long now." Momo said
Then, the owner, their boss heard their conversation.
"Jeongyeon, I suggest you go to the hospital and have a check up." their boss suggested
"Ani, I am fine." she said
Then, the wife of their boss came.
"Why? What is the problem?" she asked
"Our unnie here has been so dizzy often and she is throwing up too." Momo explained
"Oh is that the case?" the wife asked
The girls nodded.
The wife who had the same experience Jeongyeon has right now somehow has an idea why she is being like that but, she doesn't want to jump into conclusions. She got a calling card from her bag and handed it over to Jeongyeon.
"Here, take this. She might help you." she said
Jeongyeon grabbed the calling card and looked at it.
There was the doctor's name and the place of her clinic and her number.
"Thank you ma'am, I'll try my best to go to her." she said and then bowed
"Ani. You go there now, today will be your day off go on." their boss said
The girls were surprised.
"A-are you sure?" Jeongyeon asked
Their boss nodded and smiled
"Now go." he said.
The girls then went to their lockers and got their things and went on their way to the clinic.
When they arrived, they were surprised to see that it was a gynecologist's clinic.
"Are you sure we are in the right address?" Sana asked, looking at the card
"Yeah, its there and the doctor's name was also there." Momo said
"Well, let's go?" Jeongyeon asked
The girls nodded and they made their way inside. Luckily there were no patients since it is a hot afternoon.
Jeongyeon knocked and a nurse who happened to be the doctor's secretary opened the door and greeted them with a smile
"Oh hi. Madame Clarisse told me that you will come." the secretary said
Clarisse was the wife of their boss
"Ah yeah, she told us that I will have a check up in this clinic." Jeongyeon said
"So you are Yoo Jeongyeon, c'mon the doctor is waiting." They all entered the clinic and it was big and it is full of equipments and tools used by gynecologists.
The doctor was a lady, probably the same age as Clarisse around their fourties.
The doctor did some tests on her and interviewed her about certain things.
"Jeongyeon, your condition is nothing to be worried about." she said
The girls sighed in relief
"And in fact you must be happy with your condition." the doctor said excitedly
The girls were confused
"Doc, what do you mean?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Your change of moods and appetite and vomiting and dizziness are just some of the symptoms that you are carrying a baby!" she enthusiastically announced
The girls were shocked, as in, so shocked
"What? Did I hear you wrong doc?" Jeongyeon asked
"Ani, I told you, you are carrying your baby and for almost four weeks now." she said with a big smile on her face.
The girls were left at shock. Especially Jeongyeon, the fact that she conceived a child for so long already is just so shocking for her, especially that it is her first time.
She felt mixed emotions in her. The joy and the fear is there. She is joyous because she will be a mother and she really loves kids. She always wished that someday she will be a mother and have kids whom she will raise. The love that she had for the man she loves gave her something new to love and cherish as well.
Fear, she is nervous. What is she won't be an able mother? What if she mess up? What if her father finds out and becomes more enraged?
But no matter what, the joy still prevails. She is very happy that she is carrying her child.
Tears of joy then suddenly fell from her eyes.
"Ji-jinjja?" she asked the doctor
The doctor nodded
"Congratulations." she greeted.
That night, Jeongyeon was by the sea, she sat on the bench by the shore and watched the the sea as it reflected the night sky and the bright moon. The cold night wind blew her hair and she was smiling happily. She really couldn't believe that she is going to be a mother.
She tilted her head and she saw the father of her child walking barefoot by the shore as well. He was playing with the waters. She smiled at him.
Jimin has something for Jeongyeon. Something that he just found.
Flashback
While Jimin was unable to sleep at night, he decided to have a stroll by the shore
While strolling down the shore something caught his eye. Something that he never seen before.
He neared it and there was this slightly open shell. Its color was white with a touch of yellow gold. Inside a white sphere peeked from the open space of the shell.
Jimin grabbed it and once he opened it he saw a perfect pearl in its dreamy white color. It was something very wonderful and he never seen a real one like it. It was just mezmerizing and he felt lucky to find one.
He admired it and he didn't know what to do with it. He was holding it and then when he tilted his head, he saw Jeongyeon with her eyes closed, a smile. She is by her window. Jimin smiled seeing her like that. If there is something that makes him truly happy, it is her. No one else.
Upon seeing her, Jimin knew what he'll do with the pearl.
End of Flashback
He then saw the lady he loves sitting by the shore beautifully and her smile was more beautiful than the star. Jimin neared her and sat beside her. He kissed her forehead and then looked at her.
"You look very beautiful my love." he complimented
Jeongyeon held his cheek
"Gomawo." she said
"I have something for you"
Then, Jimin placed his hand in his pocket. Then, he pulled out a necklace from his pocket. It had the pearl pendant on it. The pearl he picked one night.
Jeongyeon was overwhelmed to see the necklace. She has been a fan of them since she was young.
"I got this pearl from the sea, I found it and I guess it would be a very perfect gift." he said
"Turn around." he said and then Jeongyeon followed.
She turned around and then swept her hair to the side. Jimin opened its lock and then placed the necklace on Jeongyeon, then after, he locked it. He was so happy that he was able to give her his gift.
Then, Jeongyeon moved and faced him again and then admired the pearl
"Thank you...." she said
"I am sorry that the chain is not made of real gold or silver, its just that I cannot afford them right now. But, don't worry when I get to save enough money, I will buy a gold one." he said
Jeongyeon looked at him and smiled and held his cheek
"No it is okay. Its perfect." she said and then kissed his lips and the boy responded to her
After short seconds, she moved back and smiled at him again.
"Actually, I also have a gift for you jagi " she said
"What is it?" Jimin asked curiously
Jeongyeon smiled again and then neared her lips to his ear.
"I am carrying our child Chim. I went to the doctor and she said I am carrying this child for almost four weeks already." she whispered and then moved back to face him again
"You are going to be a father now, Chim." she said.
Jimin was surprised
"Child?" he asked
Jeongyeon nodded
Jimin was shocked but when he finally absorbed everything, he became happy. His heart jumped out of joy. He was so overwhelmed. Unknowingly, tears of joy fell from his eye
"Ji-Jinjja?" he excitedly asked
Jeongyeon nodded once again and out of joy, Jimin hugged her and stood up and carried her by her waist.
He was so happy, they both are. They are going to be parents. Although they are not yet married, they are not afraid, they already committed themselves to each other and they know, they will be there for each other no matter what.
They love each other so much and that love gave them something they will love and cherish forever. Something that will remind them of their love for each other, something that symbolizes their love.
They dreamed of having a family of their own and now they will be able to achieve it.
Jimin put her back down and looked at her again and cupped her face, Jeongyeon then can't help it but to cry along with him, she also cupped his face.
"I love you my Jeongyeon." he said
"I love you too my chim." she responded and then they kissed shortly
Then after Jimin carried her again by her waist and Jeongyeon yelped out of shock and Jimin was just smiling.
His family heard Jeongyeon yelp so, they went outside to see them.
"What is it Jimin?" Hoseok asked
Jimin heard him and put Jeongyeon down and looked at him.
He stretched his hands and arms wide.
"I am going to be a father!" he shouted
His family was surprised except for Sana and Momo of course.
Jeongyeon giggled seeing him like this
Then, Jimin went near the sea and stretched his arms
"I am going to be a father!" he shouted in the horizon
