Edmund Pevensie was the most famous man in the world. Known for his famous movies, autobiography, and his very successful modeling career. He was a heartthrob to the young girls and an inspiration to the young boys. The news tried to pin him to one girl, but they never could. You see, Edmund had several female friends who were his 'dates' to award shows, galas, and banquets, but none of them were his girlfriend.

He was very secretive about most things in his life, but he was most secretive about his love life and his romances. Ever since he had been fifteen, he had been in love with one girl and had never been with anyone but her. (y/n) was his one and only, not just his girlfriend. He kept her out of the media and all of his fame because he knew it would mess up their relationship. How did he know this? Because it had happened to all of his friends. Even the superstars in their 40s and onward who had been married.

(y/n) understood Edmund's worries so stayed out of the media's eye. The one thing Edmund wouldn't do to avoid the media, however, was make (y/n) live somewhere else. So (y/n) lived in Hollywood in Edmund's 75 million dollar mansion. However to avoid the eyes of the media, (y/n) took Edmund everywhere they went, posing as his manager and publicist. No one suspected they were dating or even involved romantically because they were never together and it was commonplace in modern Hollywood for the manager of a big star to live in their mansion.

Yet something inside of (y/n) didn't like keeping their relationship a secret. She wanted the whole world to know that she was in love with Edmund Pevensie and that she wouldn't leave him for anything. But, (y/n) wanted to do whatever made Edmund comfortable and happy so she tried to go with his plans.

How do I know so much about these two? Well, I'm (y/n) (y/l/n). And I wake up next to Edmund Pevensie each morning and I ask God how I got blessed with someone as amazing as him. And I did that same thing this morning before kissing him and taking my morning shower.

"Hey (y/n)?" He asked me from the bedroom.

"Yes, Ed?" I asked from the mirror where I was doing my makeup.

"Why don't you come with me today?" He asked.

"To your modeling session?" I asked.

"Well, sure, if you want. But I was thinking you should come with me to the Gala." Edmund grinned.

"Edmund you're joking." I laughed.

"I'm not, I swear." He replied.

"Ed, but then the speculation will start." I sighed, "That will ruin what you've worked towards these last years."

"(y/n), I want to show you off tonight, okay? Susan is coming by to do your makeup before we go, so be ready." Edmund smiled.

"Ed, I don't understand you sometimes." I laughed, emerging from the bathroom in my white robe and wet, wavy hair.

"Is that an I love you I hear?" He asked.

I laughed and then kissed him. He pulled me in closer and played with my wet hair. I held onto him after I kissed him and he rested his chin on top of my head.

"I love you, Eddy." I said.

"I love you too, (y/n/n)." He replied, "Could you come with me to Lunch, too?"

"Edmund," I looked up at him and he smiled, "what are you trying to do?"

"We're going to tell the world about us, (y/n), or at least stir some speculation around us." He grinned.

"Edmund, trust me when I say that's sweet, but is it what you want?" I asked.

"Of course." He answered.

"Is this about the models from last week hitting on you?" I asked.

"No, I promise. I just want to go out to Lunch with my beautiful girlfriend." He grinned.

So four hours later at noon, I was sitting at a rooftop eatery that Edmund had taken me to before he was famous wearing a floppy, yellow sun hat and a matching sundress. I ordered a salad and a speciality tea while Edmund ordered a club sandwich and a wine.

"Wine? At noon?" I giggled.

"Why not?" He smiled.

"So, this is your idea of a date?" I asked.

"It's special to us, right?" He asked, "Tell me, what was our first night in Hollywood like?"

"Well, you almost ran out of gas because we got lost then we pulled into that gas station where you get our favorite beer now. And then we drove into town and it was sunset and we sat here on this rooftop before you were famous and we made a toast with the cheap champagne they used to serve here. And then we stayed that old hotel on the corner and we-" I began.

"You don't have to say that last part." He grinned and blushed a little bit.

"We ordered room service, if I remember correctly. And we stayed up almost all night with the itty-bitty balcony door open so that the warm air could rush in because our AC was broken. And there was a blood stain on the carpet right by the television and we imagined scenarios about how it got there." I laughed.

"Those days were wonderful, (y/n). I want everyday to be like that. So I was wondering-" He began to look down but then never finished because our food came.

After a lunch full of reminiscing memories and terribly placed jokes on Edmund's half-drunken behalf, we headed home to wait for Susan. However, we didn't wait for very long because she pulled into the driveway just as we did. Within a couple of hours, the sun began to set and I was completely ready. I started to walk towards the back stairs that led to the garage and pool, but Susan stopped me.

"(y/n), you're going to make an entrance, right?" Susan asked.

"I wasn't planning on it." I laughed.

"I knew all those years managing my brother would do you no good. You need that Hollywood pizazz. Tonight is about you. Yes, Edmund is the star, but how you look is even more important because this is your debut." Susan explained.

So I followed what she'd said and I could see Edmund just staring at me as I descended down the stairs. I felt as light as air drifting down those stairs. He took my hand in his and he did not let go for a long time. We got into the limo and drove to the red carpet event where there were several paparazzi, media, and stars already waiting. The chaueffer helped Edmund out of the car and Edmund helped me out of the car. He held my hand and everyone seemed shocked as they began to report.

"Edmund! Edmund! Is that your girlfriend?" Someone shouted.

We ignored all of their questions and continued to walk down the red carpet. At some point we got to a fashion photographer who completely ignored Edmund and wanted to know everything about my outfit.

"Who are you wearing?" He asked.

"(y/f/d) [your favorite designer]." I smiled.

"Miss (y/l/n) is wearing a (y/f/c) (y/f/d) gown! The detailing on the gown must have taken at least 10,000 hours to create and her makeup was done by, whom again Miss (y/l/n)?" He asked.

"Susan Pevensie." I answered.

"THE Susan Pevensie?" He gasped, "Iconic!"

"She is just that." I smiled.

"Enjoy your evening, Miss (y/l/n)." He grinned and I was gone.

Edmund and I entered the gala and were met by several of his celebrity friends, including his best friend, Timothee Chalamet. He was exactly our age and had even gone to high school with us back in the day. We hung out with him the majority of the time and discussed our plan.

"Nice plan, you two." Timothee grinned.

"Yeah, we're hoping it will give us more freedom." Edmund explained.

When the gala ended, Edmund and I got into his car, which had been parked out back by his brother, Peter. We began to drive and no matter how many time I asked where we were going, he wouldn't tell me. He just said, "It's a surprise." But I knew we were going to the beach when he took the right turn and then the left one. I left my shoes in the car and ran down to the water before he could do anything.

"Edmund, I love this beach. It's where we met that summer before high school. Gosh, I can still smell the salt in the air and the gentle lavender in your messy hair when you kissed me a month after we'd met. Why did you-" I began and turned around to see that Edmund was on one knee behind me, a red velvet box between his fingers. Inside of the box sat a sapphire ring with every stop and special thing a wedding ring could have on it.

"(y/n), I'm in love with you. Famous or not. I love who we were, are, and will be. I love waking up next to you and living with you. I love it when we spend our days so cheaply, even though we're rich beyond our wildest dreams. I love it all, (y/n). I love you. Will you do me the greatest honor I will ever know and marry me?" He asked.

"Oh, Ed-" I was sobbing.

"If you say no, I understand. I'm kind of an asshole for pulling out all the stops and-" He rambled.

"For the love of God, shut up Edmund." I laughed and he got up and placed the ring on my finger and kissed me.

And everything disappeared. The beach, the paparazzi, the media, the models, the champagne, the sunset night when we came to Hollywood, the private plans, the eateries, the mansions, the indoor pools, the ordering room service, the red carpets, the wine, the lies, the everything. It was just me and Edmund. Whether we were fifteen or twenty-four, I couldn't tell. All I knew was that we were us. And that was plenty.
