Ship: Byakuya Togami x Makoto Naegi
Perspective: Byakuya Togami, first person
It's been a month since me and Makoto started dating and I really don't deserve him. He's so amazing. I honestly don't know how he puts up with me at times.
Looking at him laying on me... I want to protect him with my life. I've never felt this way about anyone before. I just love him so much. I wish I could just stay wrapped up in bed with him forever. I pull him closer to me and I hear him mumble in his sleep. He's so adorable. Before I met Makoto I never imagined myself enjoying cuddling up to someone. He's so warm. I gently close my eyes and take in the moment. Before I know it, I'm asleep too.
I've never had a nightmare sleeping in the same bed as Makoto. It's like he's my guardian angel. That night I dream of me and Makoto opening a bakery together.
"Byakuya~ Are you awake yet?" My eyes flutter open and I see the man I love looking back at me.
"I am now." I yawn and stretch my arms. "Good morning Makoto." I smile, forcing my eyes open to keep looking at him. I've never been a morning person, but I'm willing to change that for him.
"How'd you sleep?" he asks me.
"Wonderfully. I had a good dream." I grab my glasses from the bedside table and look at him again. I can't help but smile at his innocent eyes.
"That's nice." He snuggles up to me. I may just be the rose tinted glasses of a month long relationship, but when me and Makoto are this close together, my heart sings. I run my fingers through his hair. It's very soft. He must've washed it recently.
"You know, Makoto... I really love just laying with you." I feel him smile against my chest.
"I do too." He hugs me tighter. I kiss his forehead.
"I love you, Makoto."
"I love you too, Byakuya."
