Marley was on her bed with unshed tears in her eyes.
Every girl in the Elite Academy want Marley as Their friend.
They summoned Marley to their every party,
Every occasion, every gathering.
Not because they want her on their party, but because they want Marley to introduce them to Nolan.
They want her friendship, only for Nolan and his friends.
Sick twisted mind of them.
Another tear.
That was the reason she did not make any friends in the academy.
No one wants her,
They want her friendship because of her family status.
But the first time in the academy, She met someone who did not made any fake smiles just to please her.
For the first time,She wanted a friend,
To be exact, she wanted fayth as her friend.
Fayth was not like others.
Fayth didn't said the sugar-coated lies to Marley as everyone says.
Fayth was not the friendliest person she knows but Marley could manage that.
Just to know, what it feels like to have a real friendship. Not the #friendsforever friends. But the one where you can share all your happiness and burdens.
You know the friendship in which you don't have to worry about what the other person would think.
You both are real to each other., Without any lies.
You both can rely on each other.
Marley had thought that she will make fayth her friend, no matter how hard she had to try,
But now...
It's Impossible.
Her mood was beyond the definition of sadness.
Because she got the news that her roommate, fayth, wants to change the room.
Marley snickered through her tears.
I don't blame fayth,
It's my personality that no one can stand.
Of course who wants to become a friend of a girl who has a zero in personality.
Who always talks without thinking.
Marley was thinking all this when her phone rang, Breaking her chain of thoughts. Her eyes went toward the screen.
The name says, 'Father'
She cleared her throat and answered it.
"Hey dad," she said with her signature cheerful voice hiding well the girl,
Who was behind the voice.

Fayth was going toward her dorm.
But her mind was full of thoughts, Nolan to be exact.
Did he followed her all along? Did he see the ring? That was the reason about asking the engagement? Why didn't she notice him? Or there is something else? What if he is one of them?
And No. Then why the hell he cares about her whereabouts.?
There were so many questions.
And she wants the answer.
But it would end eventually,
Cause she has applied to change her dorm.,
Because of him.
She ignored his thoughts and focus on the ring in her hand.
If Marley would not be in the room,
Then I'll check the ring.
Fayth was at the door,
And for her surprise, the door was slightly open.
She opened it.
When Fayth entered the room,
Marley didn't notice her because her back was toward fayth.
Fayth noticed that, Marley was intensely talking to someone.
Fayth's intention was not to eavesdrop Marley's conversation but,
Marley was literally screaming.
So she couldn't help but listen.
Marley couldn't help but feel Anger on her dad's words.
How could he do this to me?
She thought.
Her dad's voice cut her thoughts,
As he says,
"Look, girl, we are not giving you any choice, You have to come here., You like it or not.
It's not our problem.
This is the least you can do for us.
You are already a stain on the family."
Her dad's voice was angry and annoyed.
She didn't want to,
But once again it hurts her.
The words.
"Dad, please try to understand me,
I can't marry your business friend's son.
I don't even know him. And this is so sudden!
I am not an object, from which you want to make a profit.
I'm not a business deal you want to achieve.
I'm your daughter" Marley fought her tears back,
"I'll not come for dinner and this is my last. . ."
Before she can complete her sentence,
His father cut the phone.
This is how it always ends.
With him cutting her phone.
Of course I'm the stain in our family.
The first tear left from her right eyes,
Came to her chin and then,
There was no break.
Fayth stood at the back, Awkwardly. Not knowing what to do? Should she leave?

but as she tries to turn back, Her back hits the drawer, knocking out the small clock, which made enough noise for Marley to hear.
Startled, Marley turned her back toward the voice, And there, In front of her was her was none other than her roommate. Fayth.
They both frozen, looked at each other.
Fayth didn't know what to feel or what to do?
The girl in front of her,
who was always so cheerful has kept herself so hidden.,
Behind the smile.
Fayth looked into her teary blue coloured eyes.
How come I didn't notice the sadness behind them.
Marley stand up and started to wipe her tears with the back of her hand.
Smiled.
Then she said.,
"Oh, hey fayth., You know I have allergies to...."
But she was cut off...
by an overwhelmed hug by fayth.
Fayth still didn't know what to do,
But she did what she had done.,
If violet was here instead of Marley.
Hug is best for these situation.
Fayth tightened her grip and said,
"It's okay, I know and I'm here"
And then as a triggered which was pulled,
Marley started to cry.
Put also her arms around fayth like her life was depending on it.
"I am not enough....for them, I'm useless,
No matter... what I do, I'm always...stain."
Marley said between her cries.
While fayth patted her back and tried to call her cries down.
After some time.,Marley was calm.
They both broke up from each other's embrace.
Marley sat on the bed and fayth beside her with her hand on Marley's shoulders.
"Thank you," Marley said with a small voice.
And fayth still don't know what to do.?
Fayth just nodded her head.
Marley looked at fayth,
She never ever thought that something like this would happen.
Not even in her wildest dream.
But then she remembered something and jerked fayth's hands away.
Fayth's surprised eyes looked at Marley with questioning gaze.
"You will also leave me,
I heard you want to change your room.
Tell me, is this true?
You will also leave me right?"
Marley asked trying her best to not show the hope.
Marley knows this is stupid but she can't help it.
This is what, fayth don't know.,
What to do now.?
How to control this situation.
She didn't know what to do now.
When she has to say this to Marley.
That she is gonna leave her.
Now after This incident.
It's harder than before.
How can she leave her, now?
Fayth knew if she leaves Marley now then. . . .
But she also don't want Nolan in her life.
Arggg, what to do?
And as a light.
Fayth remembered the scene. Her past.
The memory of them.
They had said to her.
"You should never let emotions come into your work." The voice was strong.
"Yes" fayth replied,her voice confident and young.
But after the second. another voice came.
"but you should also not ignore them. Cause if you will ignore them, they will not disappear and they will haunt you, eat you alive as guilt. So accept them, whatever you feel at that time." This time the voice smooth.
Fayth never ignore their advice.
okay then I take my decision.
" I will not," fayth said.
Marley looked up. "What?"
"I am not changing my dorm anymore." her voice determined.
"No, it's okay. You don't have to give me sympathy. I can understand. I'm used to it now.
It's okay." Marley said this to herself more than fayth.
"No. it's not okay.
It would be okay for you, but not for me.
I want you in my life. So I'll be staying here for me, not for you." Fayth said and smiled at Marley.
For a moment, Marley was shocked but then her senses come back.
"Thank you, thank-you, thankyou so much," Marley said and once again pulled fayth into hug.
"So friends?" Marley asked still fayth in her hands.
Fayth tightened her grip, nodded and said.
"Yeah friends."
They both were Smiling.
But then a voice came,
A voice of grumbling,
From fayth's stomach.
Marley pulled away.
"So once again instant noodles?" She asked fayth.
"Yeah, once again instant noodles" fayth confirmed.
Then they both laughed and went toward the kitchen.
"Btw, I want your help tomorrow, " Marley said to fayth.
"In what?" Fayth asked.
"Tomorrow I'm making pancakes in big amount," Marley answered.
"Why, as I know, you don't like pancakes," fayth asked still confused at why Marley wants to make pancakes?.
"Oh, I didn't tell you, did I?"
"What Marley?"
"That tomorrow my brother and his friends are coming here, because they like my pancakes a lot., And as a fact they eat like pigs," Marley answered casually while making noodles.
But hearing this news,
All the colour from fayth's face was drained.
