Ladybug ran across the rooftops, Chat Noir beside her, chasing the human icicle.
"Haha! You'll never catch me Ladybug and Chat Noir! Hand over your miraculous before I turn you into an ice sculpture!" Taunted Snowstroyer.
"Never!" Threw back Ladybug. Snowstroyer, looking over her shoulder at the duo, didn't realise that she had reached the end of the roof and promptly fell off, but managed to grip the ledge with one hand just in time. Ladybug and Chat Noir peered over the edge and saw her cockily smirk at them before letting go of the roof and plummeting towards the filthy pavement of an abandoned alley. Ladybug was about to jump after her when she saw a skeleton in an exquisite suit splay his gloved hands and stop Snowstroyer mid fall. Ladybug blinked. How was this possible? She wasn't ignorant enough to not notice if people had magic.
There was one answer to the conundrum. The skeleton was another akumatized victim. Ladybug was about to swing down and deal with both the akumas, but that's when she saw the girl. The girl in the darkest black, standing near the skeleton and looking at her in quite a confused manner. Ladybug's eyes widened to the size of frying pans. This goth was a hostage!
The goth cupped her hands over her mouth and bellowed up to the duo, "Why are you dressed like a giant insect?!" The goth then looked at Chat Noir. "I like your cat costume!" Chat Noir and Ladybug jumped down to the ground, in a fighting pose.
"Why thankyou." Chat Noir bowed. Ladybug scowled at him, now was not the time to have a little chit chat. She nodded to Chat Noir and he jumped and grabbed the microphone from Snowstroyers hands and promptly snapped it in two. The akuma flew out and Ladybug purified it. The skeleton had dropped Snowstroyer and was slowly backing away from her and Chat Noir with the goth. Snowstroyer was normal again, took one look at the skeleton and ran away. Now it just her, Chat, the skeleton and the goth in the grimy alley. Ladybug stepped forwards and looked up at his skull, pushing down the fear that stirred inside her.
"Let her go and surrender your akuma." His skull tilted in confusion.
"She's here by choice." He replied eerily calm, in his silky smooth voice.
"What the hell is an akuma?" The girl growled. Ladybug changed her mind. The girl was probably an accomplice. They were going to do this the hard way. That was fine with her. Chat Noir and her would still bring them down.
