It's quiet here. Alexis gave me a blanket last night. I woke up an hour ago and I can't concentrate. What time does Rufus wake up? This quiet is suffocating.
The phone rings.
John picks it up, he's in a better mood because he has coffee, but still.
"Lost Souls Foundation, this is John Johansen speaking"
Different last names, guess they aren't married, good for Alexis.
"Yes ma'am I'll tell him. Thank you." He turns to me, "Look like your friend is on his way."
My face heats up again and I'm visibly blushing.
"Yay!" Alexis cheers, clapping.
"Guess we can remove you from the Lost Souls database."
I smile. Rufus is on his way.
