It was as if she had taken her last breath, and all the energy she had was drained from her body. An experience that has never happened before. She was standing in the middle of nowhere. Just plain dirt a lake to the side and bare trees. There were no animal around or else she would have been able to hear them. The last thing she remembers is using a quick spell to break Camila free from her chains.
"You shouldn't be here" She hears from behind her causing her to turn around
"Lauren you shouldn't be here. You need to go back" The familiar person says making Lauren's eyes water.
"Why, Why am I here?" The green eyed girl asks
"You need to go back" The person says
"How?" Lauren asks
"Remember to breath" they say
"Elijah, how do I go back?" Lauren asks again
"Just breath and it will be fine. The Family needs you. You will be the one to continue the blood line now go" He says looking at the girl then walks away.

"What happened?" Micheal questions when he sees Jeremy rush in with Lauren in his arms while Tyler is behind him holding Camila
"Kai happened" Jeremy responds
"What do you mean Kai?" Clara asks
"He's in town. That is all we know. He had Camila chained when we reached Lauren and after we broke her free Lauren passed out" Tyler states
"Where is Mika?" Jeremy questions
"He's in the study why?" Clara replies
"We need all the families here now." Jeremy answers
"The families do not arrive until tonight" Micheal retorts
"Yeah well they might have to get here sooner. If Lauren is not awake or responsive by the ascension time we will have problems." Jeremy states

"Breath how the hell am I suppose to do that?" Lauren questions while looking out at the lake
"Maybe he wants you to focus" another voice answers from behind her making the younger girl look up in shock.
"Hello Lauren. I'm guessing that by your face you must recognize who I am" the person says
"You, you are" Lauren starts
"Yes I am Klaus, your very old and very spontaneous relative." The man replies with a smirk
"How, how are you" the girl stutters
"How am I hear? well it turns out that sacrificing myself for the sake of our family instead of my ambition gave in a good favor so that I may be here and not in purgatory. Either way I believe you and I are due for a chat." Klaus states
"But I'm not dead am I?" Lauren questions
"No child you are not dead. You are far from it. You are here because of you ascension. Hope your great grandmother, did not have to deal with this part since she was taught from a very early age about keeping her powers at an even level. Her magic was what she used most and then she used her other abilities when needed. You however have had them on an unbalance field. You let your anger and rage determine when your hybrid side appears which can be extremely dangerous. Take it from me, rage and Anger should not dictate your actions. Had I known that when I was still alive our Family legacy might be different. You are a Mickealson Lauren not by name but by blood. You are a descendant of a very violent family history focused on betrayal, fights within siblings. I do admit I was the main reason for that happening but it was only my way of trying to maintain our family. I know that Hope made sure that those tactic never happened again and I need you to also continue what she started. After tonight, you will be the one thing that can keep this Family together. Your distant cousins that are witches and those have become wolves will look to you for guidance. You will also be looked at to make difficult choices, In those times do not hesitate to ask for help. Powers or not, you come from an extremely long line of powerful beings including Hayley, Freya, and Rebecca. A wolf, a Witch and a Vampire all three marvelous and extraordinary in their own way. He states then walks away as well. leaving the girl alone again.

"Mika what is happening?" Clara asks panicked while staring at her daughter.
"I, I don't know. The ascension process never talked about this" The older man states
"Could it be that she never fully recovered after Josie and Lizzie did the locator spell to find Camila?" Tyler questions
"No, even if they had drained some of her energy to do the spell it would have not taken much out of her this is different" Mika replies
"Well what can it be it's been 4 hours. The ceremony is in 2 hours Mika" Micheal states
"Give me a moment to think. Where is Camila?" The man asks
"She is being taken care of. She woke up frantic but Jeremy was able to calm her" Tyler responds

"Still here I see" a voice states from behind the sitting girl
"Yeah I figured, seeing both Elijah and Klaus wouldn't exactly help in making your brain wake up from its unconsciousness. Come with me, I want to show you something" The new person says and the green eyed girl follows.
"So I'm guessing you are wondering why you are here when you aren't exactly dead. It's simple, your mind has created a semi state that allows you to be both here and in the real world at the same time. Your mind wants answers to the doubts you have about what is happening. How ever Klaus and Elijah aren't exactly the best at taking away doubts. I figured I'd give it a shot" The person states and stops in front of lake side shack.
"I know you know who I am Lauren. So what we are going to do is have a talk." The person says taking a seat on the shack steps and Lauren follows
"What happened to me?" The green eyed girl asks
"Well for starters, it looks like you over exerted your powers. When you ran into Kai, your anger and rage were at a very high level and you had used an extreme amount of your energy trying to stay in control that when you finally did have a chance at any form of attack you were spent. You blacked out after using a quick spell to get Camila out" The person answers
"Is, is she alive?" Lauren asks
"She is perfectly fine. Believe it or not we do see all the things you do on the other side. For instance, I know that you have your mated mark right between your left shoulder and your neck. I also know that your Crescent wolf mark is on you right hip bone." The person replies
"So you saw" Lauren starts
"Yes I saw. And it is something you should not worry about. You are an extremely smart girl Lauren. With a huge future ahead of you. What ever Klaus told you earlier is what he learned from his experience. However, we all have different ones. I know that from my life time I learned that I would have not changed a thing. If I had then you might not be here or even Camila for that matter. Yes she is part of the family blood line but that does not change how you feel about her or how she feels about you. If you were told before, I had Klaus' child but I was in Love with Elijah. Imagine how confused Hope must have been that her mother was in love with her uncle. You also have to know that although Mika and Grace are brother and sister Mika belonged to the Wolf side of the blood line, and Grace's curse was never triggered. Your grandmother was only known as a witch that married a wolf, like Frey had. Your mother being a hybrid was by pure luck. Camila being a hybrid however is a different case." The person states
"What do you mean by different case? Hayley why is she different?" Lauren asks
"Camila did not only inherit the bloodline from the Mikealson family. Yes she is part crescent wolf, and she does have the original Vampire genes that make her a hybrid but she also gained something from Landon, the person Hope had Mika with. You two are only related by blood, not by name. She is a Kirby like Mika, while you are a Jauregui-Mikealson. No one will know other wise. Heck, she still has Cabello as her last name. You are allowed to be with her Lauren. There is nothing against it. You are not siblings, you are barely cousins." Hayley states
"So you are telling me that I can be with Camila, because she isn't a Mikaelson by name?" Lauren questions
"What I am telling you Lauren is to be happy. If she makes you happy, if she is the one who calms you on your darkest day and is the one who keeps you grounded and connected to the living world, then be with her. The ones who are here only want you to be happy. We already know your future together we just want you to see and live it for yourself." Hayley replies
"But what about the other stuff?" Lauren asks
"You mean the ascension ceremony? or Kai?" Hayley questions
"Both" Lauren answers
"Well for ascension the ceremony is not something you should worry about. You will be presented to all the packs, covens and families. From there your father will present the witches blessing, Then Mika will provide the pack blessings and finally Rebecca will give you the family blessing along with Marcel. When the blessings are done you will be required to drink from Klaus' infamous cup." Hayley explains
"So I have to drink the human blood?" Lauren asks
"For the transformation to be complete yes. As for Kai, he will probably not want to be around during that time. Since during this ceremony us spirits from this world also appear to provide our blessings. It will also be dangerous for him since after the transformation is complete your powers will be 10 times more than what you have now." Hayley responds
"What if I lose control?" Lauren questions
"I think that can be handled by what Elijah told you, Just breathe. Now. I believe it is time for you my lovely great, great grandchild to enter the Shack before you leave us here" Hayley says getting up.
"Will I see you again?" Lauren asks looking at her
"You won't be seeing me for a very long time but that doesn't mean that, Klaus, Elijah or I will not be watching over you or Camila. Now go inside" Hayley says giving the girl a hug

"We only have 45 minutes left Mika" Clara says in a panic
"I'm looking, I can't find anything" The older man says looking through pages of different spell books
As the seconds continue to tick by the anxiety in the room continues to rise. Micheal and Mika continue to search for a way to wake Lauren while Clara tries her best to keep Lauren cool with wet cloths on her forehead. Camila had already calmed down enough to explain what had happened to her to Jeremy while Tylor worked outside with His pack to guard the house property. It was now cutting shot of 15 minutes until the ceremony and all the adults were begin to lose hope until out of no where Lauren jolts up from her position on the couch and taking in a deep breath.
"LAUREN!!" Everyone shouts then hovers around her.
