"Hey, calm down." The blonde didn't have a look of worry on her face as she tried to soothe me. For a moment I got lost in her eyes, but quickly snapped out of it when I realized how much trouble we both would get in, especially me. "Are you serious? You might not remember, but no distractions is a rule for me. I've already gotten in trouble before, this isn't some game." I continued to pace back and forth in the small space of the blondes tour bus. "I know that, Y/N." It was now almost 2:00 A.M. and I did not know what to do, yelling at Dinah is all I have been doing and that isn't helping much. "Well, you sure aren't acting like it. Seriously, Dinah, I feel like your little toy. All you've been doing is dragging me around everywhere you want to go!"

By now Ron probably would have returned back to his golf cart and reported the keys are missing. I could either go try to return them or not do anything. "I'm sorry. Okay?" Dinah got up from her bed and walked over to me, grabbing my hand. "It was never my intention to make you feel like that. I just wanted to have fun. At least I thought you were having fun."

"Dinah, in all honesty, you've been the reason we are always doing something we shouldn't be." I let go of her hand and stepped away from her. A look of hurt spread on her face, which she quickly covered with a scowl.

"If I'm such a huge problem, why not leave me the fuck alone? Huh?" Dinah didn't raise her voice at me, but she didn't have to for me to hear the defeat in her voice. I turned around, so the blonde couldn't see how she affected me. Maybe I was harsh, but I won't take back what I said. "Y/N? Can you just..." I looked over my shoulder at Dinah and she averted her eyes from mine. "Ugh! Can you just leave?"

"Are you serious, Dinah?!" I faced her to which she looked straight ahead. "Look at me. Dinah, look at me." I was pleading with the girl to get her attention, but it's like she cast me in the shadows. "Fine," I passed by her, making sure to pick up the pair of keys that started all of this mess. The only sound present was the dangling of the keys as I exited the bus. I did the same thing to her as she did to me and put her in the back of my mind as I slammed the door shut. I just can't believe she would tell me to leave. Like I was the one who did something wrong. I'm over her annoying spontaneous adventures and irresponsible ways.

I continued to walk on the bumpy gravel as I made my way back to my bus. I was so angry I didn't even remember to get my shoes. The cold ground and the cold air only made me feel even worse. So now I'm barefoot and Dinah just kicked me out. "Great," I fumbled in my pocket and found my phone, turning on the flashlight. The bright light blinded me for a second as I saw the unforgettable golf cart sitting in the same place where we left it. I crossed my arms over my chest and walked over to the vehicle. I placed the keys back where we found them. The security jacket was still there. I was freezing cold and it seemed like my best bet right now, so I quickly grabbed it and put it on over my top.

"Hey, kid. You alright?" I knew it was honey eyes without even looking her direction. I played with the zipper on the jacket. "I'm fine." I was about to ignore her until she spoke again. "You sure? A girl walking around without shoes on and in a bright ass windbreaker, doesn't seem fine to me." I looked down at my feet and wiggled my toes. I turned towards honey eyes and she was standing on the stairs to her bus, causally leaning on the door. It might be dark, but I can still see her golden, unearthly eyes. "I said, I'm fine. Okay? So, back off."

"Hey, I couldn't care less, but I don't think Dinah would like it if I left her girl out in the cold with no shoes." She stepped down the stairs and made her way to me. A gust of wind blew her hair and I pulled the jacket closer together. "I'm not her girl." She reached for the name tag and let out a small laugh. "What does she have you up to?" I rolled my eyes and let out a long breath. "Come on, Y/N. You might be fine with freezing, but I'm not." She was about to head off.

"What's your name?" I finally asked her the question I've been wondering. She turned around and put on a smirk to which I rolled my eyes.

"I hate my actual name. So, everyone calls me, Penny. Now, come on or I can leave you to freeze out here. It's up to you, kid." Reluctantly, I followed Penny into her bus. I just want to sleep and forget this night even happened.

. . .

We were now at the next stop, Boston, Massachusetts. I was sitting in my hotel room, which I'm sharing with Ashley, trying to convince her that everything's okay. She isn't buying it any more than I am. I know she can hear my voice get whinier every time I lie.

"Last night was a mess. There, I told you. Now, can we talk about something else?" I fell back on the bed with a little thump. Ashley did the same and managed to knock me on the floor, making me fall on my back. I was still sore from that damn golf cart and now this. "Are you kidding me?! You have your own bed. Use it!" I sat up and blew a strand of hair out of my face. "Hey, I'm sorry." She put her hands up in a defensive motion and moved down to the floor with me. I sat with my back against the bed and she did the same, resting her head on mine. "What's wrong babycakes? Please don't makeup something. You know I just want to help." Yeah, yeah. She wants to help, but it's not like she can fix this. After I went into Penny's room, things sorta went left. I mean, I didn't do anything wrong, but I take it back. I just wish I didn't have that stupid argument with Dinah.

"Dinah and I kinda stole a golf cart and then forgot to put the keys back. So, I yelled at her about how irresponsible she is and that she basically just drags me everywhere she wants. So, she kicked me out without my pride and my shoes. Then, Penney let me come to her room and we sorta almost hooked up, but we fell asleep. I left as soon as I woke up and I've been avoiding them both all day." The room was quiet and finally, Ashley said something. "You did what now?!" I covered her mouth as she continued to yell. "Ash, you need to calm down. Got it?" She nodded yes and I took my hand off of her mouth, which was a mistake.

"I can't believe you! I can't believe Dinah! She did what?! Ugh! I swear I'll- I'll..." I began to smile and let out a small giggle. "You'll what?" She laughed with me and sighed. "I don't know, but you should've come to me. Penny is a troublemaker." She stood up and held her hands out for me. "I've heard it from Bella. She just sets her eyes out on something and when she gets it, the ending isn't pretty." She pulled me up. "I figured. She seriously bores her eyes into you." She gasped. "I thought I was the only one who noticed." Her phone went off and her eyes lit up. It must be Bella. "Hey, some people are heading out to the movies. Want to come?" I just said yes, hoping it can take my mind off of everything.

. . .

I tried to keep my anxiety level at a zero, but I was standing right behind the blonde and the other girls at the concession stand. I just pulled my hoodie over my head and hoped no one noticed me. Dinah seemed fine and I couldn't tell if anything was bothering her. That is if anything was bothering her. I looked back at Ashley behind me and all of her attention was on Bella. They were holding hands and Ashley's head rested on the shorter girls'. I still can't believe things are going well between them.

"Hey? Y/N?" I looked away from the two lovebirds and followed the soft voice. It was Normani. The other girls must have gotten what they wanted and headed off. "Oh, hey. Thanks." I walked up to the counter and she hooked her arm in mine. The cashier wasn't there yet. While I glanced at the bright menu screen, Normani began to speak with me. "You're definitely sitting with us because I barely get to see you." I could feel my cheeks heat up and I swallowed the lump in my throat. "Yeah, I would love to." I lied. It was definitely a mistake coming here. I pulled a straw out from the dispenser and twisted it in my hands. "Good."

Normani stayed with me while I got my popcorn, candy, and soda. I didn't mind because I liked her company. I was just dreading the fact that I would have to see Dinah after yesterday. I guess, I don't have to sit next to her, so that makes it better. We were making our way to theater eight and once we entered I saw the blonde sitting in the far back with the other two girls. Normani and I walked up the stairs in the dimly lit room towards them and she sat next to Ally, leaving me to next to her. "Y/N!" Lauren called my name and ran into my lap, almost knocking down the bucket of popcorn. "I missed this cute face." She squeezed one of my cheeks and I swatted her hand away. "Thanks? I missed you too. Even though it's been one day." She and the other all laughed, including Dinah. "Did you like your first day on tour? I mean, did you like our show?" Lauren stood up and stole a piece of my popcorn. "Yeah, it was hectic, but I liked it." I liked one part of the day the most. Dinah singing my dad's song to me. "Oh, and you guys were amazing. I wish my little sister could've been there. She was extremely jealous."

"When we reach close to your home. She can come see it for herself. Come sit next to me." Lauren begged and sat back down in her seat. "No, you're stealing Y/N away from me." Normani chimed in and Lauren glared at her. "You already talked to her. Hey, Dinah move down." Dinah moved a seat over, leaving her old seat for me. I moved in between the two and immediately regretted coming with Normani. There was an awkward tension between us. "It's a scary movie. Hold Dinah's hand. She's a baby when it comes to this stuff." Lauren loudly whispered as the lights dimmed and everyone began to settle down.

I gave my popcorn to Lauren because she was eating more of it than me. I pulled my legs into the chair and my hand brushed against Dinah's. I held my breath afraid if I let it go, she could sense how nervous I am. I tried to keep my eyes on the screen, but the girl let out a tiny squeal. I couldn't hide my smile, turning my focus to the brown-eyed girl. She looked at me and I couldn't help but feel that feeling in my stomach. She cupped my face and leaned into me, whispering in my ear. "You're not going to forgive me, but I'm sorry." I reached down for her hand. "You're right, but I'm also sorry." She smiled at me and focused back on the movie.

A ghost jumped out at the girl in the film and Dinah jumped next to me. Her grip on my hand tightened and she placed her head on my shoulder. I gently stroked her hair. "You know I'm always here for you? During scary movies and whatever else. Right?" I whispered to her. "Yes, now hold my hand and don't let go."
