I woke up in a very unfamiliar place. Everything I saw was new to my eyes. The beeping thing beside me is new to me. Everything was painted in white. The ceiling is white, the walls are also white. The scent of the place is pungent. I don't know where I am right now. I don't remember how I got here.
I was about to stand up when there was a person in a lab gown entered the room. I guess he's a doctor. As he slowly entered the room, his facial features was more vivid and clear. He was entirely handsome and tall. His face was somehow very familiar, even his eyes, I can't phantom why.
"You're awake!" He spoke. I didn't knew what to say.
"Hey, Rose? Are you just going to stare at me?" He added, which made me confused.
"Who are you? Where am I?" I asked nervously.
"It's me, Jack! Don't you remember?" His tone became sad as he spoke those words.
"Sorry. I don't remember you. Who are you anyway?" I asked him, hoping I could get answers and not to be in a topsy-turvy state.
"I'm Jack Denvers, your supposed to be husband. You are Rose Summers." He replied which made my thoughts upside-down.
"Husband?!" As I said those words his face became more sad.
"You don't remember me? I guess they were right."
" How did I got here?"
" You were caught up in an accident. Your car crashed in a tree. You were on a high speed that day. You were drunk because you failed the BAR exam."
"When did that happen?!" I asked him
"It was 4 years ago." He replied
"So you're saying that I was asleep for 4 years?!" I asked him vigorously which made my bed budge.
"Apparently, yes." He replied with a low sad voice.
When we were having our little conversation, there is something inside my mind that makes me want to ask it to him, but by just thinking about it makes my heart beat so fast. It took me a while to muster the courage to ask him the question that kept on bugging me.
"So, do you have a girlfriend or a wife now?" I asked him. As I aksed those question my heart hurts.
"Yes. I have. I married Stacey."
"I married your bestfriend." As he said those words the pain that I felt in my heart became more painful, then suddenly everything just became black.
