"Open your mouth" Lawrence held a spoon full of rice. Piper opened her mouth as Lawrence fed her.
"Mmm! You're the best!" Piper gave him a thumbs up before chewing her rice. She had been in the hospital for almost 1 month and she was about to get discharged soon, much to her excitement.
"Eat more" Lawrence gave her another spoon of rice from the lunchbox he made.
"Yeees" Piper chewed happily. She found the hospital not that bad. She could sleep and everyone would do everything for her. The only thing she hated was the smell but she got used to it.
"Today's the last day" Lawrence took away the empty lunchbox
"Mmh. I can soon be free" But no matter how much she liked the hospital, she liked home the most.
"Yes" Lawrence sat on the couch as he read his book while drinking coffee.
Piper stared happily at his focused face. As the days passed she found herself liking him more and more. He was a nice person and a nice friend.
"Do I look that nice?" Lawrence smiled, his eyes still on the book
"Little" Piper laughed. She also liked him because she could be open with him. She didn't need to act like Piper Green, but she still refrained herself from exposing too much of herself.
"Why did you just suddenly stop using "Piper" instead of I?" Lawrence asked with curiosity
"Piper thought it was annoying" She joked
"It's cute" Lawrence said while chuckling
Piper didn't answer and only went silent. She was a little mad.
Does that mean that I'm not cute? I'm only cute when I'm Piper Green? Piper Green is the one you find cute and not me?
She wondered if he only liked her because she acted as Piper Green before or if he liked her because she was her. If he really only liked the "Piper Green" her, then she would not be friends with him anymore.
"Why so depressed?" Lawrence noticed her mood change so he asked.
"Nothing" Piper sighed and got rid of her thoughts
So what if he only likes me because I'm Piper Green. He doesn't need to love me. Piper Green is the one who should live a good life
Piper smiled happily again and schemed in her head. Lawrence laughed and drank his coffee silently.
"Why are you laughing?" Piper asked Lawrence with a mad tone
"No." Lawrence got rid of his smiling face
"What no? That's not an answer!" Piper pouted.
"I was happy" Lawrence smiled again while looking at Piper
"Why?"
"Because I'm happy when you're happy"
"Oh..." Piper tried her best to act calm. She almost laughed because of the cheesy line
Piper suddenly felt a pain in her head which caused her to frown but she soon went back to her normal expression so it went unnoticed.
The symptoms are already showing up, huh?
Piper lied down on her bed and closed her eyes. Her head really hurt like it was about to explode, "I'm sleepy" She said to Lawrence
"Sleep then" Lawrence just thought that she was to embarrassed to face him so he didn't care, "Goodnight, Pipes"
"Mm" She couldn't say much because of her head. She closed her eyes tight and tried to sleep
PINK it's really killing me. Don't you have anything that can take it away
[I'm sorry host. I lost a bet against my brother before so I had to give him all of my medicines. I only have some sleeping pills that I took from his room one day]
Just give me one. If I sleep then I'll not feel the pain, right?
[Yeah]
A pill appeared in front of Piper she put it in her mouth and reached for the water to swallow it. The pill was very effective since she fell asleep right after. It was thanks to PINK being from a more advanced world.

"Home sweet home!" Piper said as she walked inside her house. Lawrence was behind her carrying a few bags with Piper's stuff
"Mommy! Bobby! Poppy!" She called out. The first to come was bobby, mommy and poppy came soon after, "Welcome home" They smiled.
"Bobby let go of my leg" Piper shook her leg trying to get off the kid who was hanging on it
Her parents smiled happily. They were also worried about her but they didn't want to ruin this happy occasion.
Mommy stared at Lawrence before turning to Piper. She smiled widely while thinking of important stuff, "I must find a shop that sells nice wedding dresses. Ahh! I'm so happy" She wiped away her tears from happiness while hugging poppy
"We'll soon have grandchildren" She said quietly to poppy. People in this world tended to get too absorbed into their fantasies.
Piper went to her room so that Lawrence could put down her bags. When she was struck by the pinkness she almost fainted. Having not been in her room for a while made her unused to the pinkness.
It was worse for Lawrence who only liked darker colors. He too almost fainted at the sight of the pink room.
"Don't mind it too much" Piper laughed stiffly while unpacking her stuff. Lawrence helped.
"Yes" Lawrence helped her and when they were finished they went down the the dining table. Piper's parents had prepared a feast because the whole table was full of dishes
Lawrence sat beside Piper and soon they all started to eat. It was a very happy atmosphere
"So when are you moving in together" Mommy suddenly asked while blinking her eyes.
Piper almost choked on her food, "Cough, cough!" She hit her chest a few times. Lawrence patted her back
"I don't know. When she wants to" Lawrence said. Piper stared at him angrily. She thought that he would help her but he betrayed her.
"Then how about a few weeks from now on?" Mommy clapped her hands happily. She really longed for grandchildren and the only one she could depend on was Piper. Her son was only 6 years old so she couldn't force him to marry yet. She had to wait for 10 more years before sending him away.
"No" Piper said but she wasn't heard because of Lawrence, "Great!"
Piper stared at him like she wanted to kill him.
"Hahaha! Eat more!" Mommy laughed and put a few more dishes on Lawrence' plate. Piper also ate more and she felt that the food tasted a lot better than before.
Piper went back to her room to unpack after having eaten. Lawrence also went with her
"There's no need to unpack. You'll live with me soon" Lawrence said happily. He was so very happy. He felt like he had just won the lottery 5 times in a row.
"Says who?" Piper was unwilling
"Me"
Piper looked at him before unpacking her stuff aggressively
"I'm very happy. I can live with the woman I love" Lawrence said with a glad voice
Piper froze. She was also happy that she could be with her maid 24/7 but she tried not to show it
This man is making my life so hard. I will probably die soon and when that happens I'll never see him again. I'll become someone else and he will forever disappear. Why is he making it so hard for me? If he becomes such a good maid then how can I ever have other maids?
"Can you just stop" Piper looked at Lawrence with serious eyes
"What do you mean?" Lawrence once again wondered if he did something wrong
"Stop loving me. You're making it hard for me"
"..." Lawrence didn't know what to say. He looked at Piper's face, "No. I'll always love you. I don't care if I make you uncomfortable"
"You want me to feel conflicted all the time? Is this what you do the person you love? Shouldn't you think of my feelings?" Piper said with anger in her voice
Maid I don't want to get too attached.
"Maybe but it doesn't matter to me. Since I want to love you then I will" Lawrence answered. All he knew was that he loved her and that was all he needed
"Sure do whatever you want." Piper turned around and continued to unpack. She was mad, happy and sad. She didn't want to hurt Lawrence' feelings by pretending to love him when she didn't
Piper reached out for another piece of clothing but felt her hand failing her. It was shaking and she couldn't move it.
A symptom again...
She took her shaking hand with her other hand. The shaking hand calmed down and she could move it again. She thought about some stuff and looked at Lawrence and got a brilliant plan, "Fine let's do it. You and me"
Since she was going to die soon why not live life. She might feel sad when she'll leave him but that was a problem to face then. Right now she was here and he was here and this was also a perfect opportunity to finish her mission.
"What?" Lawrence asked doubtfully. He kind of had an idea of what she meant but he didn't dare to be too sure.
"Let's date. Like a normal couple" Piper said while secretly laughing in her heart
"Really?" Lawrence was too shocked to take in the situation. He thought that he would have to chase her for the rest of his life so her sudden confession was like a bomb to him.
"Yes. Serious" Piper smiled while looking at his shocked face.
I'm so going to regret this. Haah... But it's all for the mission
Piper shook her head and sighed. Lawrence only went online after a few minutes. He ran up to her for a hug but was blocked, mercilessly.
"No touch." Piper said while holding off his arms. Lawrence got sad again but he went happy soon after. He didn't care as long as he could be with her.

Piper carried her bags to the car
"Let me" Lawrence came out of the car and helped her put the bags in the baggage.
"Thank you" Piper smiled and went to the front seat, "Stop shaking your legs so much" Piper said as she looked at Lawrence
"Sorry, I'm just too excited" Lawrence smiled at Piper
"Whatever, Just drive"
They soon arrived at the small house. It wasn't big but not very small either. It was in a more desolate area and it had a big yard.
Piper smiled as she reached for the door handle to open the car door. Her hand started to shake again and she couldn't move it. She stopped the shaking with her other hand
"You okay?" Lawrence asked
"Yeah. I just thought if I had everything" She looked at Lawrence and smiled
"Okay" Lawrence went out of the car and started to move the stuff. Piper opened the door with her other hand but when she was about to step on the ground her right leg became numb. Piper stumbled but she supported herself on the car before she could fall.
Sh*t my life...
Piper tried her best to walk and she could soon feel her leg. She then started to help Lawrence with moving

"All done" Piper clapped her hands and said happily, "This house is really nice"
"I chose it. Will you give me a kiss as a reward" Lawrence asked expectantly
"No."
Lawrence got sad. He had never held her hand once, let alone kiss. When he first heard her say that they couldn't touch, he thought that it was for a few days and that's it. But they hadn't touched for weeks. He was desperate. He wanted to hug her and kiss her like normal couples.
"But..." Piper went up to Lawrence, tip toed and gave him a small peck on the cheeks. She laughed before walking away.
Lawrence was dead. He officially died. (Please come to his funeral at xx xx 13.00. No entry fee. Everyone's welcome. Please bring cash.)
Only after a few minutes did he move. He smiled happily before laughing like a maniac. He touched his cheek one time and continued to laugh. Piper who heard him only shook her head.
So tragic. It was only a small peck. This guy will never get a girlfriend if he's like this...
