Sada
Seeing Sal tonight was bitter sweet. I just wanted to feel his arms around me and have him hold me all night, but seeing that smile will hold me over til the next time we meet. When I got in I was surprised to see my mom still awake. I headed to my room and got in bed, I was too tired to change or do anything else for that matter. My mom came in and laid beside me, she rubbed my head like she use to when I was a kid. She always knew how to relax me, my eyes were getting heavy and I was ready to pass out.
"Sada, what's going on with you?"
"What do you mean by that ma?"
"Nothing, you just seem a little different." She stopped rubbing my head but I was to tired to move.
"I'm not different mama, everything is okay."
"Alright beautiful get some rest." With that she left and within minutes I was drifting off.

Victoria ran in my room all smiles. She grabbed my hand and led me to the dining room where the table was all set beautifully. She pulled out a chair for me and I sat down. I couldn't help but smile at my baby, she was a split image of her father.
"Dinner will be right out."
"Thank you darling." I said to her as she took her seat next to mine. What was going on, she seemed so excited but I had no clue as to why.
"Papa made his special sauce." She exclaimed with glee.
"Oh really, are we celebrating something? " She shook her head yes. What was he planning and how did he get my little angel to keep quiet? Sal walked in with a pot and placed it on the table. He came over to me and kissed me oh so gently, I smiled into it and he pulled away. He had a look in his eyes that I never seen before but I couldn't read it.......

I woke up with a smile then realized it was all a dream. It was 9:30 am so I knew everyone was gone already. I slowly got out of bed and went into my bathroom. My mind was stuck on my dream, all this talk about kids and having a life together was getting to me. I brushed my teeth and washed my face before getting into the shower. The water felt so good hitting my bare skin, I felt so relaxed and for some reason I felt good about the day even though I had no idea what I was going to do. Once I was all washed up and the water started to turn cold I got out. My phone started ringing, I quickly wrapped my towel around my body and went into my room to get it. Sal's picture was on the screen and I smiled then answered.
"Good morning beautiful."
"Good morning baby, you miss me already?" I asked with a smile.
"Of course I miss you. Do you not know your all that is ever on my mind, which is why I have plans for us today."
"What do you mean you have plans for us today? Sal you know........"
"Sada just listen to me, I don't want to hear all that right now. Go look in your glove box, there's a manilla envelope with your name on it. Read it then call me back."
"Salvatore, what are you doing?" As much as I wanted to spend time with him I didn't want him to get caught out. This was out of our norm, very unusual for Sal to pull something unexpected.
"Sada just do this for me okay, and I'm not taking no for an answer. I love you baby bye." Before I could say anything else he had already hung up.
Salvatore
I couldn't sleep at all last night, my mind was racing. Just thinking of all the bullshit that's been going on with my father and the business. Vincent is getting a little too hot headed and I know pop isn't happy with his carelessness. I know that soon enough one of us will be made and by the looks of how hectic things have gotten under Vinny's watch it won't be him. I just want to get out of dodge. I kept thinking about the secret estate my grandfather left for me before he passed. He was the only man who knew I wasn't cut out for this life. Surprisingly he wanted for me so he bought a house and put it in my name. Nobody else knew about it but me. He paid out full price in cash so there was no trace. Seeing Sada at the club made me realize that I could give her the life she wanted. I packed up some of my things and slipped out unnoticed. By the time everyone would realize I had left I'd be long gone.
When Sada arrived I was ecstatic, she looked beyond confused but I knew her curiosity would outweigh her better judgment which is why she drove all this way. I walked over to her and kissed her. "Baby what is this place?" She looked around in amazement.
"Our house."
"Excuse me! Our house?" She looked at me like I lost my mind and I couldn't help but laugh.
"My grandfather bought me this house when I was younger. "
"Sal, are you crazy? I mean you can't just think this is okay, when your family sees me they are going to lose it. Baby you don't have to do this now, I will wait as long as it takes. I promise you I'm happy, don't do anything stupid just to please me." There is never a day that she could just be selfish and think of herself. I loved that about her, as crazy as she could get about things I knew she would always have my back.
"Sada just relax, come inside and we will talk about it all." She complied, I took her hand and walked her inside. I let her look around and explore the house, she seemed to love it and I was happy because this is where I plan to start our new lives over, start a family. After she went through the whole house I sat her down and explained everything, at first she was a little uneasy about it all but I reassured her that nobody knew about this place. I just wanted a few days with her, to give her my undivided attention and a taste of what we will soon have. I grabbed her bag out of her car and brought them up to the master bedroom where she seemed to have already made herself comfortable. There were candles lit and music playing softly, she was sitting on the bed looking even more desirable than ever. I pulled her up onto her feet and close to my body.
"This was suppose to be for later tonight" I said as I kissed her lips.
"Why wait when I know what I want right now. We can do it now and later, you're mine for the keeping right?" She said seductively and I couldn't take it. I hoisted her up by her ass onto my waist and kissed her deeply.
"Always and forever." I laid her down on the bed never breaking away from her sweet lips. I loved this woman more than anything and I was gonna prove it to her. Whether it meant leaving everything I've ever known behind, I didn't care as long as she was by my side. Her love was all I needed, not one thing on this earth could ever compare to the passion I feel when she's around. We were breathless but neither of us wanted to part from each other. As I started to undress her I felt her lips graze across my neck. She lightly kissed it knowing that it drove me crazy.
"I'm ready baby, let's do the unthinkable. I just want to be with you Sal" She whispered in my ear. Thats all I needed to hear, I never felt so sure about what I wanted in my life until this very moment. I'm ready to take this journey with her, I know we're still young but what's the point in waiting when you can see the future right in front of you right now. Once all our clothes were on the floor I began to feast on her breasts, caressing each supple mound gently giving them both equal attention. Sada moaned softly as she lightly pulled at my hair. I lay between her legs slowly entering her, she gasped for air and held onto me tight like it was her first time. I stroked her slow enjoying how she felt. I woke up to the smell of garlic and fresh herbs, I stretched and smiled. I knew Sal was making his sauce, it's funny how I dreamed it the night before. Maybe we would raise a family here and live happily ever after. I shook the thought out of my head and got out of the bed. I wrapped the sheet around my still nude body and walked out onto the balcony. The view from here was phenomenal, it overlooked the lake and I wanted to explore the property.
"So you're awake my love." Sal said wrapping his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek.
"Baby this view is incredible."
"Imagine waking up early and sketching out here." He trailed his fingers along my collarbone and pulled my hair back kissing my neck.
"Mmm that would be something wouldn't it."
"Or at night, me making you scream my name as I make love to you under the moon light." I turned to face him and he had a smirk on his face showing off them sexy dimples.
"Salvatore Luca what are you doing to me? "
"Loving you baby, now get dressed I got a surprise for you." I smiled and he walked me back in the room. I quickly got dressed and met him downstairs. We left out the house and walked along the property. Everything was so beautiful, I loved the scenery and the freshness of the air. Living out here would be so different than the city, it would be perfect to raise a family. Sal held my hand tight as we approached a cute little picnic set up by the water. It was shaded by a tree but was secluded from the forest. I looked at Sal and smiles.
"Baby you did all this for me?" He nodded and kissed my lips gently.
"Sada I would do anything for you, I just want to make you happy."
"Everything you do makes me happy. Just being in your arms make me happy." I said looking in his eyes.
"Well then I won't let go." I started to laugh at his corniness. It was so cute.
"Why you laugh when I'm trying to be serious and romantic baby?" I put my head into his chest to hide my smile.
"I'm sorry you're just so cute and corny. " He shook his head and smiled.
"Whatever Sada, come on." He laughed. We sat beneath the tree and talked and laughed. He had prepared a basket with fruit and cheese and wine. I know he packed light because he was making dinner for us tonight. It was like a breath of fresh air to be out of our usual hotel room. Just a spontaneous gestures that he went out on a whim to prove he was serious about taking it to the next level. We spent hours talking and enjoying our time together, I could get use to living life like this with him. Everything with Sal came so easy, I never had to hold back he loved me for me not who he wanted me to be. I wish we could show everyone that, love wasn't a color a race and definitely not something you can force upon someone.
"Let's go in now it's getting dark and I want my cooking to make you fall in love all over again." He said with a smirk.
"Is it that good?"
"It's that good." I laughed and we ran back up to the house.
While Sal was cooking I turned my phone on and saw I had about 20 missed calls between my parents and Riah. I couldn't call and tell them where I was but I text Riah letting her know I was okay and to tell everyone not to worry. I knew my parents were probably bugging out but to be completely honest it was nice not to deal with everything outside of Sal and I for once. I was going to be selfish tonight and be happy with my man. I got in the shower and by the time I was out everything was ready. Sal escorted me into the dining room and brought out the pot of sauce. He had already set plates of pasta for us but the magic was in the sauce, so he says.
"I had a dream last night similar to this except we had a daughter and she brought me to the dinner table. She said we were celebrating and I wondered what but then I woke up."
"Well we're celebrating us tonight, and who knows maybe we can practice creating that little girl after dinner." He said kissing me before taking his seat beside me. Today was perfect.
Salvatore
Last night was how I want every night to be for the rest of our lives. Sada was in her glory, nothing but smiles all night. I felt like a million bucks, nothing could compare to how it felt to be with my girl and be stress free. I don't want to have to worry about the family business or having to watch my back. That ain't the life for me I wasn't put here for that, shit when I die I wanna be happy. I don't wanna be whacked for shit that the family or whoever says is wrong cuz of their life values. I might sound like a trader but when you're forced into a line of work you're not happy with, when you constantly have to watch your back and can't trust anyone at all, you wouldn't think that way. Sada rolled on top of me and kissed my head.
"Good morning."
"Good morning beautiful, do I get a proper kiss?"
"Not til we freshen up, morning breathe ain't cute." I laughed and flipped her over so I was on top.
"What if I just take it?" She covered her face but I moved her hands pinning them to the bed. I kissed her lips gently knowing she wouldn't fight it. I pulled away and left her in the bed laughing. I went downstairs and took food out for breakfast, I made bacon and eggs and by the time I was finished she was coming down dressed and freshened up. I wanted her to enjoy being here so I had planned a big night for us, we were gonna have our first night on the town as a couple.
"You feel better now?"
"Yes, much better thank you."
"Sit down we're going to have breakfast together." She smiled and took a seat at the island and I made her a plate. I couldn't help but stare at her, she was truly beautiful and anyone who didn't see that and see how much I love her is crazy. I'm done hiding from the world, love is love no matter what race or background you come from.
"Sal why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because I'm stupid for keeping you a secret. As beautiful as you are you deserve to be shown off, cuz one thing is for sure I'm damn sure not ashamed of you.Tonight I'm taking you out."
"Baby I never thought you were ashamed of me. Do you think that's a good idea, what if we run in to someone you know." She said with concern but I disregarded it.
"I don't care anymore, I'm sick of hiding out I want to be with you Sada." She was silent, I can see the worry on her face but it was time. Three years kept a secret is not fair at all. I'm lucky she even stayed with me this long, that's how I know she's the one. She's worth it to me, if my family wants to disown me so be it.
"I want you to go out into town today. Get your hair done make up, whatever you want because tonight its all about you." She was very hesitant at first but I wasn't gonna take no for an answer. After she left I made dinner reservations for us, I'm not sure what we will get into afterwards but whatever she wants we will do.

While Sada was out I wanted to clean up a bit. I have to compliment my girl so getting fresh for her was a mess. After I showered I looked through my clothes to see what would be appropriate for the night. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I was surprised she was back I thought she'd be at least a few hours longer.
"Hey baby I wasn't expecting you back so soon." When I walked out of my closet I froze at what I saw.
"Oh really Sally boy, so you run out here with a bitch. You know I always knew you weren't cut out for this. You're nothing like the Family."
"Vedo what are you doing here?"
"Your brother sent me out to look for you, he's fuming Sally but don't worry he'll be okay once the job is done." Chills coursed through my body when those words slipped out his mouth. A job, I'm a job. For trying to be with my girl, this makes no sense. I've seen them let snake mutherfuckers go on more, this is supposed to be family. Like I said you can't trust anyone, I wasn't gonna show him any fear even though I would be done before I could get to my piece.
"Why did he send you, why couldn't he come searching for me and handle it himself. And I didn't run out here with a bitch, I came to get away with the woman I love." He approached me with a sly grin on his face, something tells me that he wanted to get rid of me. Vedo was Vinny's right hand but I was his brother, I was above him in the status of loyalty.
"Cuz if he would have came it would have been a waste of time. Your loyalty isn't with Vin or any of the family for that matter. You don't deserve to be made." If anything his loyalty isn't there. He's the one who made a trip to come after me without the family's consent.
"So what are you gonna do Vedo? You gonna kill me, over what exactly? " He laughed and pulled out his gun then walked out the room. I knew he was up to something but there was nothing I could do.
Sada
The feeling of excitement was overwhelming but I was ready to be out with my man. I called Riah to tell her everything, I knew I could talk to her and she would never repeat it to anyone. Even though I'm not the type of girl to get dolled up I did anyway. Sal insisted and he wouldn't have let me turn it down. I got my hair and nails done and picked out this sexy little dress. Sal isn't use to seeing me made up so seeing he's taking chances for me I figured I can do something for him. I tried to call him to let him know I was on my way back but he didn't answer, maybe he was getting ready for the night. I thought made me want to get back to him right away. When I got there I ran right inside and I didn't see or hear a thing. I went up to his room and what I found was gut wrenching. This couldn't be, I just saw him, he promised we were safe here that nobody knew. I ran to his side and he wasn't breathing, I closed my eyes tight trying to wake myself up from this horrid nightmare, There was no way I could unsee this, get it out of my head. Finally we were moving forward and he's been taken from me. I had to leave the room, I ran outside for air, I broke down right on the porch. What did he do that was so bad he had to be killed, how can someone be so cold hearted as to shoot someone in the head for nothing at all. I called 911 and from then on everything around me had froze. I tried and tried to make sense of it, was love really such a bad thing. Nothing seemed to hold value anymore nothing was was worth dying for. I felt sick and I just wanted to go home and back to the way everything was before. Sometimes things are better left a secret.
