when he sits down in his anatomy class with his paper sitting on the table, ready to turn in, he's nearly fuming.
"hey, aidan," everett flashes a polite smile and sits next to him. he flips through their paper looking satisfied. "this is great."
he grunts, looking in his backpack for a pencil.
"i didn't kiss her, or touch her, if that's what you're thinking," everett says, staring right into aidan's brown eyes when he glances up in surprise. "she asked me out on a date to starbucks and all we did was talk about interesting topics. that's it."
he likes how honest everett is, and gratitude fills aidan. he can't figure out why.
maybe football players aren't so bad after all.
