My father comes into Grayson and Ethan's house to check on me since I'm there almost everyday
I told him Katherine was here but they haven't officially met
Katherine comes up and her and my dad make eye contact
"Katherine" she said "Jason" he introduced
Ok....that wasn't awkward
"So what's to schedule for today?" Katherine says
"Well gray and I are going to look through old grimoires to find the last two things Kate needs for the spell, Olivia and Brie are looking at Olivia's house and Ethan is going to pick up their cousin and his girlfriend from the airport" "that gives me and you time to catch up" Katherine says to my dad
"Actually I just remembered I have work later today but I'll be back" he said and left
Me and Grayson look at books in their study room
"You know we haven't had that much alone time lately"
"Maybe that's because your grandmother is in town and is been quite a pain in the ass"
"You wanna know what she said to me yesterday?" I ask him and he nods. "She actually compared me, you and Ethan to Elena, Stefan and Damon"
"What?" He chuckles
"I know. It's like why would you date one brother if you have feelings for the other" we both laugh
We both stop when the door opens and incomes my dad and Katherine
My dad holds in his hands a cake with white frosting covered in candles
I look at them confused "dad? I thought you had work"
"I lied. I had to pick this up" he showed me a cake
"What is it for?"
"Do you really think I would forget the day you were born? July 30, 1517" he smiled which caused a smile to spread across my face
"Happy 500th birthday"
Ethan, Brie, Olivia and basically everyone who was gone came but to the house to see Grayson, my dad, Katherine and I at the table eating cake
"What's going on?" Olivia said
"Do I smell cake?" I hear Brie excitingly let out
"It's my birthday"
Brie comes from around the corner "aww. I wish you told me sooner. I would have planned such an amazing party"
I laugh "its fine Brie. I didn't even know when it was"
I look at my dad "for your information, every time your birthday rolled around I would though you these mini parties in what ever town we were in. Even though you couldn't talk, I know you loved it"
As I smile, I see two figures appear at the door. A boy and a girl
Grayson's eyes light up and he stands and says "James!"
He walks up to the boy and hugs him. "It's been so long"
"I know" James pats Grayson as they let go
"And you must be"Grayson say to the girl. "Jennifer but you can call me Jenny"
He smiles and nods his head
James walks over to me and says "you must be Isabella. Ethan told me a lot about you"
I turn to Ethan confused "nothing good I suppose"
"Of course. I gave him the story on our way over"
"So you know about..." I start. "Yep" he says "and she knows..." I start again. "Yep" he says back. "Good. That makes it a whole lot easier" I say in relief
"So...wolf?"
He laughs "yeah. Bone breaking and all. But she" Jennifer comes over to James so she's under his arm "is human"
"Great. Well would you guys like some cake?" I ask. "Sure" they both nod their heads and walk over to the cake

Grayson's POV
Brie and I are still looks for the last four items
We are in Olivia's garage while she check all the bookshelves inside
"So what is it like having Katherine around 24/7?" Brie asks me. "I don't know. She kind of-" "a bitch" "well I wouldn't say it like that but..." we laughed
"Something did happen though" I say. She looks up at me. "Katherine thought that Isabella, Ethan and I's relationship was a reflection to Elena, Stefan and Damon's" I say
She looks at me with a sad look. "Do you think that... Isabella and Ethan have chemistry?"
"No. Oh my god no. Grayson she loves you, you love her. It's meant to be. You guys are made for each other and nothing or no one can change that"
I smile at her. "Thanks" I say and smiles back at me
"Speaking of chemistry, what did you get on the test last week?" She asks. "96" I answer. "What? I got an 65"
"If you want I could tutor you for the next one" I offer. "Are you serious? Oh my gosh yes please" she giggles
But her giggles stop when we hear the garage door open and see two men standing there
One moves the finger in the slightest way and we were both out cold
Isabella's POV
"You ran for that long?"
"Well I had to. I didn't want to die. I've learned to protect myself at all cost. Besides if I hadn't Klaus would have killed me and I wouldn't be here talking to you" Katherine said to me. She had told my her whole life story
I had honestly started to feel a little bad for her
"Sitting at the kitchen talking to a nearly 600 year old vampire. Yep, One my best moments" we laugh
She soon stops laughing and her face frowns and she looks sad so she puts her head down "you ok?" I ask her. She looks up at me "yeah. I'm fine"
Ethan burst though the door "they're gone"
"Who?"
"Grayson, Brie and Olivia. They're gone I can't find them. And I have a good feeling who took them"
"Why would they take all of them?" I question
I turn to Katherine and she has a guilty look on her face, however to a normal person she looks normal
"What didn't you tell us?"
"I told you everything" she says. I grab her neck and slam her on the wall
"What are you hiding?" I yell at her. She looks at me and slightly laughs "the spell Kate wants todo isn't a spell...it's a sacrifice" I feel my heart drop and I let go of her "what?"
Ethan soon butts in "what else do you know?"
"Nothing" he could tell she was lying "have you ever been bitten by a hybrid before Katherine?" he steps closer
"Or maybe I should go after your precious little Stefan? I'm sure he'll get you talking"
She hesitated a little it but she soon gave in "the last two things you need is a vampire and a witch. And the sacrifice must be done by sun rise"
"But Brie's not a vampire"
"Not unless she makes her one" Ethan's points out. He looks over to Katherine. "You manipulative bitch. You weren't going tell us any of this?"
"I told you. I protect myself at all cost. It's doesn't matter who dies, as long as I live"
"Anything else you wanna tell us?" Ethan asked sarcastically expecting not to get an answer. "I can tell you where they are"
Narration
Olivia, Brie and Grayson are all unconscious in circles made in the ground
Two men vampires bite their wrist and put the blood into a bowl. A black haired woman in black dress takes the blood and injects it into Brie while she is still unconscious
The men start to wake Grayson up and Brie up
They both are confused and scared
"Hello" Kate introduces with a rough voice
"Who the hell are you?" Grayson asked her. "My name is Kate" she smiles while they begin panic in fear
"You can't just knock us out and use us for a spell!" Brie says
"Oh this is no spell. This is a sacrifice, which has already begun" the both look at each in panic
She waves her hands which undos the spell trapping them in the circle
They could make a run for it but there are vamps and witches standing by
Kate walks over to Grayson and the man standing next to him
"Compel him to kill her. Then bring both of them back to me" she demands
"Wait, NO" Grayson tries to plead but the man was too strong and grabbed him
Brie's POV
"Compel him to kill her. Then bring both of them back to me" she says. "Wait, NO" he says
My heart has dropped all the way to my stomach and before I know it Grayson clenched his jaw and looks at me with his dark eyes
Kate comes next to me "I would probably run" so I did
I ran as fast as I could possibly run into the woods
No matter how far I ran I heard his footsteps behind me, inching his way closer and closer
It got to a point where I stumbled over so sticks and leafs
I picked myself up but I didn't see or hear any footsteps
I looked around, quiet
I turn to check in another direction with Grayson appeared and grabbed my neck
Isabella's POV
We run till we found Kate
I saw circles in the ground and Olivia unconscious
"Let my friends go!" I say. "I'm afraid I can't do that" she replies. I see Ethan about to attack, but then I realize. I put my arm in front of him to block him "wait. Where is Grayson and Brie?" I ask
Ethan's face turn pale then quickly back to rage
"Brie is running for her life. You might have time safe her but...it might be too late" she says
I hear something in the distance
I move my hair to hear clearly, screaming
I turn to Ethan who have must have heard it to so we both ran to the direction it came from
Brie's POV
He pushed me against a tree
He began to tighten his grip around my neck
I tried grabbing his arm but I couldn't "please...stop" I let out but he didn't respond
I start to panic even more
Grayson's POV
"Please...stop" she says
"I'm trying" I say on the inside but I can't
Isabella's POV
We run as fast as we can through the woods to find them
They were in to deep
Brie's POV
I start to make choking sounds and push him off more by his arm, He squished tighter
Slowly my arm starts to lose it's grip and I my eyes slowly start to close
Grayson's POV
I tightened as hard as I could and she finally gave in
She feel in my arms, I fall with her as I realize what I have done
I hear footsteps coming from behind me
Isabella's POV
We found him
She was in his arms
I tried to listen for a heart beat but it was no use
He turned to us with his red and puffy eyes
Once I looked at her I wanted to cry myself
"I tried to stop" he says and we believe him. This wasn't his choice
