Six Months Later...
Okay so I was loving being pregnant until I became overdue! This baby was three days late!! What makes it worse is I've been active and my whole pregnancy. I haven't had no false alarms no nothing! Midwife says my baby is very comfortable where she is!
Yes, I'm having a baby girl and when she brings her ass out she better be lucky I'm going to love her so much I'll forget all the discomfort she's bringing me right now!
"Babe! I'm going shop to get something spicy for tonight. That should help the baby along." Reece said as he kissed my forehead.
"Okay." He said as he left me on the bed watching my shows.
That's right. I'm with Reece! And it's for real this time. Reece meant what he said. He was going to stay by my side and be the best friend I always had. I don't know if it was my hormones or him always being around but one night we got talking and I confessed my feelings for him. I also confessed how scary this all is especially with what's happened with Josh.
Reece continued being by my side supporting me, helping out around the house, at the gym, helping get the new gym ready to open, he was just always there. I couldn't deny the feelings I had for him if I tried.
The fact he respected my wishes made me want him even more. One night I broke down because I ran out of pancakes and that's what I had been craving during my pregnancy. I was really moaning and whining and Reece couldn't take it anymore. He kissed me to shut me up and boy did I enjoy it!
After that Reece moved in and I could honestly say I could not have been happier. Once this baby comes our little family would have been complete.
"I really should get a mini freezer up here because running out of ice and having to go down these stairs is no joke." I said to myself as I made my way downstairs.
Although going up and down the stairs may help this lazy girl come out of me. I grabbed the bag of ice and decided against going back up those states but into the family room. I nearly pissed myself when I saw Josh sitting there with a gun in his hand.
"Hello Natasha..."
I panicked. I didn't have my safety wrist thing on. It was on the sofa. I looked at it and then at Josh who hadn't even bothered to look up. He just stayed focused on the gun in his hand.
If I could just get to it without him noticing...
"Why? Why come back? What do you want?" I said as I started to make my way to the sofa.
"Ah ah ah... stay there. Don't want you trying to make any sudden movements and attack me."
"Me? Attack you? Have you seen me?"
"Yeah I have. I've been seeing you. Glowing you are ain't you?" He said staring at me.
"They say pregnancy does that to you."
"Why didn't you tell me you was pregnant?"
"Why did you rape me?"
"I didn't rape you. I merely took what was owed. Would have been more enjoyable if you was awake."
"What do you want?"
"You don't get it do you?"
"Get what?"
"You are not supposed to live happily ever after!"
"Happily? You raped me! What makes you think I'm happy?!"
"Oh you're happy! You see when you wasn't happy I was. Then you started being happy again and misery came back."
"You seem like you're always miserable."
"Not before you ruined my happy life."
"Yeah. Whatever."
"DONT Whatever me! Don't you get it. YOU OWE ME!!"
"What do you want?"
"That's a good question. What do I want? I tell you what I want. I want you to suffer. That's what I want."
"This baby being yours... that's me suffering. You happy now?" I said to him.
He laughed.
"What? That's my baby?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. The dates match."
"I'm going to be a dad?" He said and there was that smile I used to know and love. Now I despise it.
"Unfortunately."
"You don't want to have my baby?"
"You raped me..."
"STOP SAYING THAT!!"
"THATS WHAT YOU DID!! Urgghh...." I held my stomach. "I need to sit down."
"No you stay there!!"
"I am overdue! I am not standing to talk to you! I'm going to sit down!"
I made my way over to the chair and just as I made my way he grabbed me. Luckily I was able to press the button on the panic alarm before he grabbed me to stop me sitting down.
"You will stand! Now don't piss me off. Better yet, piss me off; makes it easier to kill you."
"Kill me?"
"Yes Natasha... you're not listening. You can't live happily ever after. You said that was my baby. So you was planning on playing happy families with Reece with my baby?"
"Yes!"
"Bitch!!" He said and hit me.
And just like that my waters broke.
"Oh my god! My waters have broke! I need to get to the hospital."
"Oh who cares you're gonna die anyway. Baby may as well die too!"
"You're sick! This is you're baby! Don't you care!"
"NO!! BECAUSE YOU'RE LYING!!"
"I'm not lying!!"
"YES YOU ARE!! BECAUSE I CAN'T HAVE KIDS!!"
"What?"
"This is why I came to ruin you. My wife she didn't mind that I couldn't have kids. She stayed with me. Until you came along poisoning her mind. Then she used my incapabilities against me. ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!"
"You.. you can't have kids?" I repeated feeling somewhat overwhelmed.
"That's what I said isn't it? Or maybe I'm lying. Who knows. Shame you'll never find out."
"Reece will be back anytime soon..."
"Oh marvellous. We shall wait for him.. then I'll shoot him in the leg. Then shoot you in the stomach. Then take it in turns to shoot you both... and watch you lot bleed to death. How does that sound?"
"Please... don't hurt my baby."
"SHUT UP!!"
"Babe?"
"REECE HE'S GOT A GUN DONT COME IN HERE." I shouted.
"I SAID SHUT UP!!" Josh said as he hit me with the gun again. I fell and hit my head. Everything was a daze. I could see them fighting and struggling to get the gun. Everything started sounding further and further away.
The last thing I heard was what sounded like shots being let off before I closed my eyes and my world went black...
